No worries....Get ready for every pundit picking the Bears against the Rams next Weekend, but after the Rams take down Chicago, Cowherd will have the Rams as the 4th best team left.

He has us at 7. We’re 13-3 and he actually has the audacity to have us at 7. I used to like him but now I notice he just spits out the same narrative every single week. I don’t believe he knows much about football at all.

I really don’t care where anyone or any so-called NFL experts have the Rams rated because it is ALL up to the Rams now!!! IF, The Rams play like they are capable of then they will be the 2018/19 Super Bowl Champions!!! NO Doubt in my mind that the Rams are good enough to win it all!!!

I have said it before and will say it again...he isnt in the business of being right, he is in the business of getting viewers.

Exactly...Skp Bayless is the same way...He doesn't believe a lot of what he spews, he just knows what makes the ratings work...

Hate to say it but I think our defense drops us a bit. That said, 7 is asinine.

It's gonna be fun if we beat the Bears round two. Underdog is fine by me btw. Playoffs are where this team needs to earn their accolades.

Yeah I only see this perceived national media sentiment working in the Rams favor

I actually rewatched the Bears game yesterday...6-6 at the half, maybe it was that bush league air raid siren or whatever, but I’d really love to see a rematch, let the Saints deal with Dallas

really? as soon as his top 10 started getting whacky i stopped watching it. yeah, i get it, it's boring to have the same teams on top all the time. but you know what's worse, the reasoning he conjured up to push down teams. listening to bs isn't gonna keep me interested.

Did he know anything about football when he had us blowing through the eagles a couple weeks ago? How about when he had us as dark horses to the super bowl last season? How about when he praised Goff all last season?

Not sure why people completely dismiss people bc they have a different opinion? Go back to last season and the "media fallout threads" or even the ones earlier this season. They were all on our side. But lets not act like we're playing the same way as we were at the beginning of the season.

He has a load of semi-informed takes that he likes to transform into his infamous metaphor narratives on a weekly basis. He also likes to run counternarratives to popular sentiment. So his take after KC mnf was that KC was a better team on a neutral field. Not revolutionary, but he staked a claim. Then Rams come off bye week with three straight subpar games and he morphs into a "peaked too early" narrative. He is frequently wrong (Baker Mayfield) but it doesn't give him much pause. Whenever he is proven wrong he comes up with a new metaphor narrative to explain it. Kinda funny schtick. He's less annoying than most.

Bare minimum should be 3rd or 4th but like others have said if he's getting us to talk about it, he's doing his job..

All talking heads are the same, sports, politics, whatever. They all listen to each other, spout the aggregate, then throw in some random contrarian points just to be ‘edgy.’ :blah:

I think Cowherd understands a lot about football. He saw that there was something wrong after the chiefs game, and he was right, we had a bad three games with a difficult win over the Lions and two losses.
And we are 13-3 but that's a lot due to the 9-0 start, during which he had us at #1 the whole time. The end of the season, not so great. This is not about ranking records it's about current form, and based on that, I think there are valid reasons to have some doubts.

I don't disagree with him all too much and i like that he didn't put Seattle in there. Talk about a team that's been overhyped for the last month or so. Even my fellow Rammies are scared of that team.
Go look at their schedule and find more than one or two wins that make you go "Wow."
On the road this year they beat AZ, DET and a faded CAR team late. That's it. Now they're going to go to Dallas who are 7-1 there and get a win? I don't see it.

I do think #7 is a bit low for our Rams but we're under the radar at this point simply because we lost 2 in a row late in the season, and the majority of the "quality wins" came earlier in the season.

These playoffs should be fun though.

Chiefs went 3-3 in their last six games and he still has them at no 2. Don't see how Baltimore, with the way Lamar Jackson throws the football, and New England, who lost five games to non playoff teams, should be ahead of the Rams either.
