Would add nice depth. Hope it gets done cheap enough. Shelton can play guard or center.

Would like to see the terms, but like getting interior OL depth. He can play 3 positions, so that is very valuable.

Wasn't he pretty good @ Center? I wonder if they're going to let him and Limmer compete or if it's Limmer's job to lose.

Never was overly happy with him but he gets the job done when needed to.

Good depth for our center of the line.

The funny thing is that if Limmer had just stood in front of Jalen Carter on that 3rd and three play; and gotten blown-up ... just like Shelton did above ... that fraction of a second might have been enough for Stafford to hit Higbee who was breaking wide-open.
In fairness, on the play above, Shelton was tripped by his LG.

He’s better at pass defense than Limmer, but Limmer is a better run blocker.

Either way they now have better depth at Center and guard.

Yeah, that’s all they needed. Rookie mistake, miscommunication, whatever the reason it was a pivotal play.

Well- as I’ve posted for awhile NOW about The Rams not signing their own. It’s sort of cool there bringing Coleman Shelton back, especially getting rid of Johna Williams.

The Rams do that though & keep there relationship strong.I don’t see what’s not to like?? Of course maybe you didn’t like him,but he was really missed to start the season.
It brings back what Mcvay has been about.Kromer was a big part of the development of theses guys going back to John Sullivan & Austin Blythe.
He’ll bring a lot to the locker room.
