We traded away all those 1sts for Goff, Ramsey and Stafford not to mention others. Now with a retirement and some guys getting hurt we have a garbage offensive line. The most important unit on any team.
We got our Super Bowl. We got some good vets who wanted to sign here with the young coach, new stadium and to play with AD.
That is OVER and we are paying the price.
McSnead, please to not trade away any more high picks for immediate veteran help. You two guide the LOS ANGELES RAMS !.
Who have a tradition of great offensive linemen and running backs. We can find good WRS and RBs in the mid rounds.
Those 6'7" 320lb men with long arms and ballerina feet get drafted in round one and we need several.
We shot our wad for the Super Bowl at home. But look at the Bills, built through the draft and will be good for awhile.
I for one, and believe I am not alone prefer home grown talent scouted and drafted by the Rams.

I don't think it's the draft picks we've given away. Look at how stacked our secondary is. We didn't need draft capital to get those guys.

We're a couple of OL and CB away from being competitive. Albeit our offensive and defensive play calling this year has been suspect.

Have at it gents.

Yes it's largely the OL. It's also some other shit too though. Thing is we're gonna need to get the OL a bit healthier to fix the other shit. Trying to fix the pass game with these protections will get Stafford hurt.

So we get Allen back for this next game. Maybe get this OL to play better with him in there. I do think this OL can develop if they stop getting injured.

The offensive line is far and away the biggest issue right now.

But it is more than that.

The o-line actually held up reasonably well vs. SF. We moved the ball well, for the most part, but could not convert in the red zone.

The few times we do score points, the defence promptly rolls over and drains all momentum. We cannot seem to get both sides of the ball to play well at the same time.

The play calling is suspect. McVay seems out of ideas, doing the same thing every week, expecting a different result.

The execution by the players is lacking. Stafford's individual play is among the worst on the team right now. That will cripple any offense, if the QB doesn't have it.

Hopefully, the team can turn it around. It's a long season. Plenty of time. But things look grim at present.

It's like watching the Jeff Fisher Rams.

Nothing much to say once again, I really thought I'd be riding that SB high for longer, this team is a huge dissapoitment, don't get me wrong we'll always have last year but I've just come to expect more of McVay and a lot of our other players. I echo others that are saying this looks like a Fisher team right now, heck we'd be lucky if we could beat a Fisher team at this point

Disagree. The offensive line is by far the biggest problem, but we also have no WRs behind Kupp, and RBs that cannot break a tackle to save their lives. Not a recipe for success, considering how much those two positions touch the ball and impact an offensive performance.

“It starts with me. I gotta do a better job calling plays and putting our guys in a better position”
I know what the problem is and we're going to fix it.

Every new coach, it's a new excuse and tag line. Bench Edwards and Evans. Give Oday some burn.

Start dialing up some creative runs. Start playing and mixing in more man to man and allow your pass rush to do its job.

We lost a lot of talent and the new players we signed are a bust. Going to be a long year.
