They'd just sign him. Hopkins is still injured.
Wouldn't he need to sign with them to be elevated. Not sure on the mechanics of how that works.

I would think he'd prefer the Rams knowing our need for a starting role and us being a playoff team. From there if we sign him and the Browns want to extort us for a pick or whatever wouldn't they need to convince him to stick around.

More than happy to. But I am also not going to get personally attacked "protecting coaching virginity" along with Kupp and not respond.

If someone wants civility, then don't start by being uncivil. If people don't like my opinion then they do not have to respond. They can ignore it.
I decided to hold back on that one.
Between that and his use of "victim".. I'm over him as a poster.

Just not the kind of discourse I'm interested in as a Rams fan or person.

Keep posting your stuff, I like learning more about football.

Wonder if NY Giants fans still want to run Wink out of town after his defense did a lot of good things.

Puka looked like he was battling the flu or something, and Kupp and Stafford look banged up! Turner is AD99 2.0

It was something… they were making puke jokes on the broadcast

I haven’t been on here.. are people blaming the defense?

Missed kicks, 2 ints… a fumble lost?

D did its job well enough today.
-Ish.

Did some good things but also got beat more than once.

ST was clearly had the worst day of all three groups.

Defenses get beat a couple times a game

Offenses shit the bed a couple times a game

Special teams shit the bed a couple times a game

Only our defense and DC suffer lasting abuse around here. All the more funny with the roster we have.

Yeah…. A TD on a returned punt… that’s a game changer.
That, plus 4 turnovers on offense?

The D was fine.

I believe they have the right of first refusal.

How about the job Boom did at LT??? The guy got a game ball and he deserved it!!!
Serious question... some of the posts in the game day thread seemed to indicate Noteboom was not playing well. Then he got a game ball. Did he play better as the game went on?

I had my eye on him because the announcers were saying the Giants were gonna try him. McVay gave him a game ball for his efforts.

I'm trying to understand PFF though...Boom graded out at 57.0...and I'm wondering what game they were watching.

Wouldn't have been close if we had a kicker.
Same 2 things are keeping the Rams from comfortable close outs. God awful special teams play and a pass defense that is too slow to react to the long ball. The Kicker issue is annoying as shit but small in comparison.

They saw the same game. Joe was getting pushed around in pass protection. He had a few good run blocks but too often didn’t reach his blocks and hold them. Nothing has changed.

Maybe, like mentioned, the game ball was because he was playing with an injury, and hadn’t started in a long time and didn’t find out that he would until 3 hours before the game. He is still just a serviceable back up. I don’t want him starting if Jackson is available.

Yeah that game ball was relief that he made it through the game. Because if Boom had come out Stafford would have gotten killed. :laugh3:

The punt return coverage needs to improve, or we'll be one and done in this year's playoffs. That and making field goals less than 50 yards.
