Now, if Sam was in the McVay "system"...oh, nevermind!

This is just so funny, that club has fallen from it's perch and I like that. This was a stupid contract that only an idiot of a GM would hand to a journeyman QB.

129MIL ranks him in the top 10 all time for career earnings I would bet.

Early vacation time for Captain Checkdown. And eagerly awaiting which team will be the one who decides to pay him thinking they might hit the lottery.

Honestly, and this might not be popular, I would like him as our backup. Why? He'd be fine on the bench. I think his career will wind down with him as a #2 on someone's roster.

why wouldn't it be popular? he would make an excellent backup. he might realise now that it will be his only way to be on a nfl roster moving forward.

Some team will pay him in the hopes he can be a starter for them. Again.

i don't think so. it was shocking enough the cards did it this year. plus he would have left a bad impression on teams with his lackluster play this season. i only saw him when the rams played the cards and he didn't even try to test the d. always a safe throw for minimal yardage, no matter down or distance.

You know it's funny. I heard this than I started to think of teams that could use Sam. Not as a starter...maybe except the Bills....but as a back up. I was never super pro Sam, nor super anti-Sam so I feel objective enough to say that Sam Bradford ..right today is better than a few team's back ups. I'm sorry but I'd rather have Sam Bradford than Cody Kessler....he's better than Peterman...he's better than ….. wait... is he better than Sean Mannion right now?

crazy ain't it...

I have no hate for Bradford. Just colossal disappointment.

Guy earned a ton of money accomplishing so little over a career. Good on him!

And he can easily be termed fragile. In the past 9 years lost a total of 3 years of playing time. Or around that. He was injured 33% of the time junior year on out.

Poor guy was the subject of such poor coaching for almost all his pro career. Maybe things would have been different if he was surrounded by competent coaching. We will never know.

As for the person, great man. Nothing for respect on who he is as a person.

GO RAMS!!!
