Wait a minute, I've seen this movie before. A game we should win against a back up QB, key players out yet we find a way to lay an egg. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out this way but won't be surprised if it does. Recipe is too perfect for an upset.
I know what you mean with the Rams history against back up quarterbacks but since Dobbs has been playing all season and it’s not a sudden thing hopefully we’ll be ready for him and the rest of the Cards.

Coming to a stadium near you (yeah I know it won't be Murray, but I love putting this picture up when we play them...) :

Dobbs is a one maybe two reads and go type of QB which is Gannon's system. Don't give him anything quick and easy and play contain. Keep him in the pocket and force him to beat you with his arm and eyes. With Connor on IR the Rams catch a huge break. This is why IMO they need to break in Ojemudia at CB replacing Kendrick. Play Shelley at nickel CB. With Lake and Yeast.

Dobbs is going to have to pass to move the team. His primary WR has been Brown. Put Witherspoon on him and Ojemudia and Shelley should be able to handle the rest. Just no soft zone for love of God! Force Dobbs to hold the ball and put a spy on him. Dobbs has 4.6 speed, put Hampton on him as a spy. Dobbs will be their run game.

I'm infinitely more concerned about Dobbs at QB than if Murray was playing. He can dink and dunk with the best of them and has pretty good wheels.
And Dobbs has a degree in aerospace engineering. He’s not ignoring film study or home playing Call of Duty. He’s a smart guy. He will be ready for every team on the schedule.

I was hoping the Rams would add a big-bodied interior D-Lineman this week.

I expect AD99 to explode for at least two sacks in this game to vent his frustration for being mostly controlled by the best OL in the NFL last week.

Is it me, or do I feel a beat down on cards coming this week, after that game last week? Most of the teams players seems very angry at alot of things. Even Stafford had a few "F" Bombs that you could read. The Exception is Donald, Hes always Mad! However we cannot overlook this Cards team!

Points/G
Rams: 22.4 14th
Cards:21.6 18th

Points Allowed/G:
Rams 21:6 16th
Cards: 27.2 27th

They are a Rush Heavy Team. They are 6th in rushing yards a game with 143/g. We are 22nd with 92/g. However with are 5th in Passing yards with 270/G and they are 29th with 185/g. However James Conner/Kyler is on IR.

Stafford has 5 TD/5 Int and Has been sacked 13 Times this season already However he seems to be settling down in terms of Passing the last few games. He should get better as seaon goes on with Kupp healthy and Puka/Tutu stepping up.

Our Def is middle of the pack and they need to learn to wrap tackle if anything! You cant just push a player like Hurts and think hes gonna just fall out of bounds. He Benches 600 Freaking pounds. Hes a freak and is pretty much a powerback who can throw lol. We are also bottom 5 in takeaways! 2 Int/1 Fum (Stafford has 5 int to compare. Even tho at least 3 werent on him.)

Im not gonna say Much on Kendrick. We all know his problems. I honestly think hes a hothead and gets these penalties because of the vets know he is a hothead and do it on purpose. I.E Ramsey. Talent is there as he was gonna go 2nd round, but fell to 6th.

Special Teams: I hate that we just Fair catch every return. I understand we dont have a return player, but give someone a chance out there like Zach Evans and let them loose.

We are also one of the worst teams in giving up yards on returns. Its like they dont even want to play kickoffs/punts at all.

Maher has been soild at this point. all of his misses are 40+ Most are 50+

Ethan is showing signs of Hekker! No complaints.

P.S Good luck Van-Jefferson. No hard feelings toward him.

I see a game where The Rams could blow them out...OR...a game thar could go to the wire *IF*... McVay doesn't contain himself with the play calling...and also if the Ram D' tackles as poorly as they did against Philly.

Having said that...I'm going with a Rams 30-14 win...:laugh2:

This game is all on McVay. If he doesn’t overthink things, we will win it easily (zebras permitting).

Cards gameplan will be to pound the rock and convert with Ertz. This is going to be a tough test for the Rams D.

Don’t understand Raheem filling in if McVay is absent. In that case, shouldn’t it be OC for offensive plays and DC for defensive plays?

This game goes a long way in determining if the Rams bother in the trade market. Win and we are still a player. Lose, and we probably see a different strategy going forward. GO RAMS!
