Thing with Witherspoon is he is no shut down guy but he makes a few plays every game and usually in crunch time

However noteboom made 2 to 3 drive killing plays all him self.

The problem with the offense is Kupp has become a complete non factor. We have one legit target that scares anyone and Stafford has a tendency to stare him down when things are going alright.

I'd tend to agree but the last we saw of McClendon was not good at all about hte same as Boom today

Our offense is such that one penalty kills the drive. So in that sense, yeah, NB had three, Limmer had one.

But I find it unacceptable that our offense is so impotent, that one penalty, even on 1st down, kills the drive.

Fair point. He's always has a tendency to feed one dude but it feels like, at least to me, that Kupp just doesn't have that it factor from a few years ago.
