I think you're exactly right. And also I don't love our depth at major positions and our QB is 37. Lots of opportunities for injuries to sink us. Maybe even just one major one.
I mean, I'd rather live in a high variance world than being in the wilderness for 10 years.

So not complaining much

Todd Bowles vs Sean McVay…Who you got?

Got a soft spot for Jourdan, seems like a good person and she's a terrific writer and journalist. Seems like a person of integrity so I'll give her credit for being honest.

She has a point that Rams show "variance" between when Stafford is hurt or off his game vs. when he's healthy and in the groove.

She says Rams are "definitely Super Bowl contenders."
I was gonna post same quote..

Settle down folks.

Rams defense will roast Mayfield like a Thanksgiving turkey and eat his crispy ass with a healthy side of fumbles and flubbed passes. Bring that shit! :bomb:
And Merlin just nailed a 68yd FG to win the game!!!!
Could not have said it any better:trophy:

Not a fan of our right tackle depth either. Especially since Havenstein has had his injuries.
Yeah, I'm not thrilled with any of the backup OT options but at least McClendon has played decently in some snaps backing up Hav. We have no one at LT.

Does any team in the league have good depth at both or either tackle spot?

Good tackles are still a premium position. There aren’t enough of them for teams to have great depth behind the starters. Noteboom is about what is considered good depth at tackle. A guy with experience who knows his responsibilities but can’t consistently perform them. I think a tackle going down would hurt the chances for a lot of good teams.

Maybe an injured tackle is more concerning because the Rams lack mobility at the QB position?

I don't need good depth necessarily, but the backups we have don't seem to be playable on a functional offense. We've seen how Mcvay's offenses are extremely correlated to offensive line production. So I wish we had more of a veteran swing tackle.

And correct, Stafford's lack of mobility plays into that for me. But also the fact that he's 37. I feel like a few rough hits can be the difference between a healthy season and a nosedive in productivity at that age.
