The SNP and Ms Sturgeon have no authority to call a second Referendum, I believe this is a Reserved Matter and can only be sanctioned by Westminster.

SNP visits to other EU member states have already resulted in them stating that IF Scotland was independent they would not (currently) meet entry requirements.

If Holyrood approves another referendum and Westminster refuses to sanction it, that will make indeoendence inevitable. We do not, have never and never will vote Tory in Scotland. In the scenario you have described May would be sealing the fate of the union. There would be riots in Scotland.

She doesn't look good in any sort of light, but, I get what you're saying.
I think she will be forced out when she gets enough push back for betraying voters.
