It's like fly fishing. Fisher loves fly fishing. You have to choose the right fly at the right time and then present it flawlessly on the water, so you don't scare the fish. In this scenario the fish are wins. Fisher prefers to catch the run of the mill trout with his tried and true, old standby fly (Keenum). He keeps looking in his box at the Super fly (Goff) and thinks that if he ties that one on he is going to catch the big fish (the playoffs), but he would have to make a perfect cast, and he doesn't have the confidence to pull it off. He has good gear ( coaches) but not the best tippet (OC), and he is afraid that even if he makes a perfect cast that the big fish will grab that Super fly (Goff) and the tippet (offensive coaching) will break and his precious fly will be lost forever. So, he just leaves it in the box and admires it because he knows that he could never tie another one like it, and keeps fishing with his old standby (Keenum) that he knows works pretty well, and it is easy to tie more of, but it won't catch the big fish (playoffs). He is happy just bringing home his 7 fish limit.
