1. Los Angeles Rams

  1. High: 1

    Low: 4

    Last Week: 2
    ------------------------------------------------
    We've now hit maximum hype.

The Rams are the most talked about team in the league after following up last year's shocking run to the NFC West title with a spree of impact veteran acquisitions.

Brandin Cooks. Marcus Peters. Aqib Talib. Ndamukong Suh. All were brought in to help the Rams take the next step and go to the Super Bowl for a fourth time and second in L.A.

In an offseason filled with good news, the most recent may be the best of all.

Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters (via the team's website) there's been progress over the last week toward getting something a contract done with Aaron Donald, therefore ending his holdout.

"There's been—let's put it this way, there's increased dialogue," he said. "There's more—we feel positive about the direction that these things are going."

Donald is the team's best player and an incredibly disruptive player. And while he missed the first week of the season in 2017 holding out, he went on to be named Defensive Player of the Year.

If the situation plays out that way again, the Rams are going to be reallyhard to beat.

While every game has to be played and with an oblong ball, anything can happen... I honestly don't think there are that many peers for the Rams especially with the upgrades and almost everyone in the offense being in their second year in it and Brandin Cooks being a super fast learner, he seems very up to speed.

Other than the Vikes and Eagles at home and the Saints on the road, I dunno about any other even potential losses.

It's likely to happen in that no team has had a regular season undefeated streak since the Pats in '11 and was '72 before that. So it's ultra rare.

The difference I see is that this team looks primed to excel in the playoffs unlike last team.

Last year reminded me of a car with a high top end, but not a ton of torque so that once it got hilly, the performance really lagged.

So, they added a ton of low end torque which should not only lead to even faster starts, but also help maintain our speed once we hit the mountainous terrain of the playoffs.

We''re going 19-0...and, I ain't afraid to say it! Let's cram it down their throats this year.

NO MERCY!
You unqualified HOMER! One loss resting players and another loss to someone else! (14-2)

Well, how do you know I'm unqualified? Homer...totally yes, but what are the qualifications? Maybe I am qualified!

Here is the test..."Sing "Ram It" without mistake, dancing while doing it, of course. No Google cheating. If you can do this, you get the gilded homer card...

Been hearing a lot of the talking heads, BR, PFF revising their opinions on the Vikings. Injuries along the OL, making them drop in power rankings.

I don't like Rams being rated #1. Harrah's sports book has Rams 8/1 to win SB. Same as Patriots.
