McDaniels back in New England again

I don’t get it! This guy has sucked everywhere his name wasn’t attached to Brady!
Which means he was always successful in New England. Good hire IMO as Drake Maye can be an excellent signal caller IMHO.

If Ben Johnson (expect) and Aaron Glenn (don’t expect) get head coaching jobs, they could try to hire some of the Lions’ position coaches for coordinator roles.

The Lions just lost their DL-coach / Run-Game-Coordinator Terrell Williams to New England, where he will be Vrabel's Defensive Coordinator and also have an Assistant Head Coach title.

Looks like Johnson is bringing-in veteran coordinators (Allen for DC and trying for Rizzi as STC) but will need to hire an OC who will probably not call plays. Wonder is he takes a Lions' position coach for that role.

Appears Glenn will get a HC job (I was wrong). Thinking it will be the Jets unless New Orleans blows him-away (or just blows him!). Hopefully he poaches a couple more Lions' assistant coaches.

By-the-Way, the Rams will still lose coaches this off-season.

John Streicher has already left the Rams' staff to reunite with Mike Vrabel.

In NYC this morning, the local sports media is expecting Glenn to get the HC job; and, one of two candidates to be the Offensive Coordinator is Rams' current TE-coach and Pass-Game-Coordinator Nick Calley.

that's because it snowed in Jacksonville today..Coen ain't got time for that cold shit
I wouldn't want to work for Kahn or Baalke either tbh. He could also see a rise in offers after another good year in Tampa. I tend to agree with a lot around here he might need more time as a coordinator.

Aaron Glenn.. Seems like just last year people dismissed his interviews as teams merely using him to fulfill the Rooney Rule.

No matter.. he's probably just the next former Jets coach.. terrible organization

With Coen.. it's starting to become a clearer pattern... highly regarded OC guys looking for an HC gig are less and less afraid to say no to a job if it feels like the wrong fit.

I think with NFL HC jobs turning over at a higher rate than ever, they know they'll get another shot.
