I hope Coen doesn’t start suggesting the Rams front office people to khan, to interview as GM.

Talk about a Great NFL coaching tree. Sean Mcvay is like the best ever. Belicheat had that Browns tree, but since no of them were worth much.

Nope. Bellyfat’s tree looks more like a broom stick.

His Cleveland days were pretty good until they moved the team. Will be interesting how he does in the ncaa.
Makes Sean Mcvays coaching tree only that much more impressive!

Jets just hired Tanner Engstrand to be their OC.

By my count, Dan Campbell has now lost seven coaches off his staff.

Both his Offensive and Defensive Coordinators; plus DL-coach/Run-Game Coordinator, Pass-Game Coordinator, WR-coach and TE-coach. The seventh was an assistant-QB-coach.

That's a lot.

Must have been one hell of a season ending speech by Caveman Dan.

I seem to remember a lot of people speculating that maybe McVay was losing so many of his coaches because he was hard to work with or that he was really stubborn in a my way or the highway type of rule. Funny I don’t see any of that being said about Dan Campbell.

I am guessing it would be very much more so with the likes of Caveman Dan. I get the feeling that while he is a players coach type, he may be an asshole to work for.

So there. Since I haven’t seen it, I’m starting the speculation on my own. :fuckyou:
Well he does make his players ballet dance to Bundulay and Swavy.

If I was a coach, I would want to be out of there.

SUCK IT, CAPTAIN CAVEMAN!

Who have The Rams lost ? 4(3) and still counting ?
Two ... I believe.

John Streicher who is rejoining Mike Vrabel; and assistant-DL-coach AC Carter who got a promotion to the Panthers' DL-coach under Ejiro Evero

This is just speculation, but does this say anything about Campbell that so many assistants went with the coordinators?

If they stayed in Detroit they’d have a shot at a promotion, plus they also have a great roster to work with, which increases their chance of succeeding and maybe getting a better coaching offer next year or the year after.

So, could it be that Detroits success was more about the coordinators and these assistants know it? Could coaching for Campbell be a bit less of a draw as pundits make it out to be? Or did these coaches simply have connections to the assistants they moved on with?

I don't think so. They all got clear promotions.

This is what I’m wondering.

With defections it would seem that some of them would be up for promotion on the Lions
They did.

In the case of Defensive Coordinator, Glenn was replaced by the LB-coach Kelvin Sheppard

The Offensive Coordinator, John Morton, has OC experience; and was in Detroit, under Campbell, in 2022.

You can say next man up, but if all the next men up are gone...oof!

You know what’s freaking cool ?

Is Sean Mcvays coaching Tree !! Johnathan Cooley is there D’ pass game cord in Carolina as well.

AC Carter did as good as if not better job than Eric Henderson??
Looking at Eric Henderson though & seeing him at USC. Rob Ryan is there Lbers coach.I remember the story of he & Fisher.Rob throwing the keys back at him on the desk.

May have times changed for The Rams under Sean Mcvay. I love Zak Kromer coming back as well. What he does behind the scenes is cool as well.He came to The Rams with his father Day 1.He was at the combine 50 yard line 2017.

He has put together drills. He really is a key to The Rams position players blocking well.He takes pride, but not looking for glory.
Just to think about his relationship with Mcvay seems cool.
