Supposedly Tom Brady is putting the full court press on Ben Johnson. Brady being in the booth and active with his ownership is against the rules he agreed to.

I think Saleh's a good leader but this hire wouldn't make sense to me. Guy like him would require a top talent evaluator in the GM chair, as obviously he couldn't put the franchise on his back Vermiel-style given his performance in NY.

But the Jags have a shit GM. So I don't think that one will end well. :laugh3:
I'm ready for after this and the Baalke tenure end in disaster they cut Lawrence and McVay redeems him.

Wink already fed up with Michigan.
I note the blue font, but I wouldn’t be surprised in the least. Some guts hate the things that come with college coaching. The recruiting being one, and the schmoozing and parties being another. Some guts just want to coach. Wink seems to strike me as that type.

IMO, if they hire Robert Saleh then they would fire Trent Baalke as Khan did state that might be the case with the incoming Head Coach. I would love Saleh in Jacksonville, if for no other reason keeping him out of San Francisco as their next DC and if not hired I hope the process drags on and the 49ers move forward with someone else.

I agree, Brady needs to get out of the booth if he is going to be this involved. Granted Mark Davis knows nothing, he has proven that, however, if Brady is going to be this involved I hope he is no longer a broadcaster although if it pains me to type this, he has been improving on each telecast.

Yeah he's already better than most of the analysts. Cred where it's due. Also it's a low bar when you have dumbshits like Collinsworth getting paid to perform oral on whoever makes a play, but when Brady's the analyst I keep the sound up.

Most do not allow the game to breathe @Merlin, however, the announcers from yesteryear like Summerall, Gowdy & Tom Brookshier did.

I appreciate his technical knowledgeable takes during games. I don’t care for his voice or his delivery so much.
