I think I might have watched half of one of the Harry Potter movies. Lost interest. Someone tried to tell me it was like Lord of the Rings. No comparison. Lord of the Rings trilogy was one of the best I've seen.
I have enjoyed watching the Harry Potter movies but even I would say Lord of the Rings? No comparison whatsoever.

Now wheel of time done correctly would have been a good comparison.

But it was not done correctly so no comparison there either.

But I still enjoyed watching Wheel of Time somewhat.

Still watching Person Of Interest on prime. While I do remember all the characters from when I first watched it, I pretty much don't remember the episode plots. Its like watching a new show for the first time. I forgot how good that show was.

Finished it last night. Sets up well for a 2nd season. I think I saw it was from the same writers or producers as Queens Gambit.
I think I have 2 episodes left. Love it.
It’s like if the shows “House” and “Slow horses” had a baby.
Lol

I just found out that Prime cancelled Wheel of Time.

Although I had significant issues with certain aspects of the show, I did like the last season quite a bit.

I am sorry to see this show cancelled.

Of course, to do this show justice they would have had to spend a ton more money per episode especially for the Dumai Wells and Last Battle scenes.

I loved it. I didn’t read all of the books but with so many of them and the usual Prime 5 season time line there was no way they could follow the books. They had to choose parts of the books and condense it obviously.

I hope some other service picks it up. Cancellation was so disappointing.

Season Three of Squid Game is coming out this month. I, for one, am dreading it. Not because it's bad, but because I am going to have my fucking heart ripped out, I just know it.

It wasn't the fact that they condensed it in that they changed some major points.

1) A female character could be the dragon reborn in season 1. No way that could happen because the dragon had to be male because of the taint. 2) The final episode in Season 1 where Egwene's tears heal Nyneave after the fact that the lady linked could not possibly burn out. Linking made it impossible. In addition, Nyneave was the most powerful healer in the books. If Egwene almost died and Nyneave healed her, then I would have been okay with that scenario. 3) The Forsaken could not be killed with normal weapons. Um yes they could - they were just people with extremely powerful spell potential. 4) Angreals and SaAngreals were completely changed in the show. Did not like how they changed it. 5) Rand falling for Lanfear in the show. Um what. Once he knew who she was, he completely rejected her. Take those five things away and I would not have any problem with condensing the show the way they did.

Was so good. Loved it. Was really bummed when the final episode was over that it will be at best a year before a new season

Binged "The Waterfront" on Netflix, was ok.
Looking forward to finishing up Squid Games this weekend and seeing if the new season of The Bear doesnt disappoint me like the last 2 seasons did....
