Star Trek , Strange New Worlds
not sure how many are aware of this , but Strange New Worlds is doing a cross over episode with Lower Decks
we don't know lot about the episode other then Tawny Newsome is playing Mariner and Jack Quaid is playing Boimler
these are actually the actors that voice the characters on Lower Deck
there is a 100 year time difference between Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks , so I'm guessing there will be some kind of time travel in the show , which will be something new , seeing how Star Trek has never done a time travel show or movie before

Finally got around to watching Rings Of Power on Amazon
said to be the most expensive TV show ever made , so I will them the credit , it does look cool
but............
the show it's self..............
kinda dull
there are parts I like , some I didn't
I liked the old man that fell from the skies and hobbits part , or whatever their called here
also like the Elrond and the dwarves part, although I have no idea how this Elrond is suppose to be the same Elrond from the films
what I didn't care for .......
Galadriel and the guy on the boat part
I'll give the show a 6.5/10
overall for the most part , I enjoyed it , but there was several times I thought about fast forwarding it

There were parts that were really good but then parts that were so slow
I would give the show about the same rating
The last couple episodes were pretty good though

Finished watching The Devil In Ohio. Emily Deschanel is pretty good. I think people would call this one a slow burn. Things do move slowly in it. But they do a decent job of making it feel a little creepy. I wouldn't call it one of the better ones I watched. But it was enough to keep my interest going and finish the 8 episodes.

I'm waiting for my wife to get back in town to watch it.
I'm wondering how it will all be tied together to an end.
It feels like they would need another half a season to end it.
I'm going to miss it.
Season 4 has been amazing.

There was a lot of backstory to be told in the first season. So, yes, parts got a little slow. Overall my son and I both liked it.

Yeah, my son and I figured that well before the reveal. It was not the surprise it was intended to be.

Yeah, I agree with your points. It does look cool for the money they threw at it... I'd still check out the next season if/when it drops. Some things just seemed kind of off, like when they had the words on the screen change from whatever the land was called before to "Mordor." Didn't think they had to be that obvious about it. I know people are up in arms about the whole bastardization of the source material too, but I'm not into all that. I just watch the movies once in a while. lol

Well Manifest is finally over and about 10 minutes into the last episode - I paused the show and told my wife exactly how it is going to end and I was 95% right.
It was a good last season though.

What a finish!
Succession was such a fun show. I miss it already.
I started season 4 of Tedd Lasso this weekend.
It's depressing that this is the final season for that show as well.
