Shoresy season 3 dropped. Best damn show revolving around sports out there imo. Funny and more emotional than you would expect or have a right to be. "Old" guy who hates losing and loves nothing more than Hockey except for maybe a sports beat writer. Seasons are only 6 episodes and around half an hour.

Being a spinoff technically I've heard people say it was hard to get into right off the bat but give it a little bit. Unless you don't like watching shows with a lot of NSFW language lol.

I know lots of folks love "The Boys", and I did for the first season or so, but I'm just kind of bored with it now

My kid and I are still big fans of ‘The Boys’. I think it’s because we love the characters so much.

I would expect that anyone that loves Trump would hate it. The parallels are very obvious.

It's starting to get to the point where the Simpsons did a very very long time ago. Just boring the hell out of me by simply trying to push the gore limits and silliness.

The gore is just getting ridiculous now.

And I thought Ash vs Evil Dead was the goriest a show could get. Silly me.
 
Anyone still watching , Star Wars Acolyte ?

I'm absolutely loving this show , but probably not for the right reasons ........,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,lol

there are soooooo many , WTF moments , I just have to know where there going

and I think most people understand , Legends , is not part of Canon

so.....................

like , whats Master Ki Adi Mundi doing there, cause now that would make him well over a 100 years old , in A Phantom Menace

who are the two hooded figures hanging out with the witches ?

Maybe Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis , because they would still be alive at this time ?

at this point , I have no interest in Mae and Osha , although , I do want to know who killed the witches , was it the Jedi , was it Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis , was it none of the above , maybe their not even dead , just passed out , we only see them for like a second

I'm hoping they don't kill off Qimir / The Stranger in the end , but we all know how Super heroes movies end , gotta kill off the bad guy in some stupid way

I think I read a while back , that Leslye Headland was hoping for a couple seasons of Acolytes because she wanted to explore Qimir / The Stranger character some more , but she also knew , no season 2 was never ever guarantied, so she kinda threw everything into season one

but hopefully , Qimir / The Stranger survives , and simply goes back into hiding , perhaps along with Darth Plagueis

but , just some fun theories , and we all know how Disney has a way of letting us down .................lol

and , when it comes to following Star Wars canon , I don't really care , I stopped caring 40 years ago

I was still in my teens , when I said , WTF !!! , for the first time , when it came to Star Wars , I now couldn't even tell you how many times I've said WTF since

Haven't watched it since episode 1. I may try it again at a later time. I'm enjoying Dark Matter and can't wait for Ark season 2 and the final season of Snowpiercer

I probably should do a better job at putting up Spoiler Warnings

I should also say , I don't want to mislead anyone in to thinking that the Acolyte is a good show , because it's not

although it's not as bad as Book Of Boba Fett , but it does have it's moments , the acting at times is pretty bad , the writing at times is cringe worthy

but like I said above , several WTF moments , but again , it wouldn't be Star Wars without those WTF moments

unlike Andor , which had pretty good writing , and was a pretty good show , just didn't feel like Star Wars
 
That 90's Show has returned

I enjoyed the first season , even at only 10 episodes , it usually takes a season or two for a sitcom to hit it's stride

it's not like the old days when a season would have like 25 shows to get their feet wet

season two is here , this time we'll get 16 episodes , with 8 episodes dropping now , and another 8 in a couple months

I've only watched the first couple episodes of season two

the Formans are back , lets be honest , Red and Kitty are the stars of the shows , the kids themselves , at time , were a little tough to watch in season one , but here in season two , they seem a little comfortable

if you're bored................

P.S. I miss shows with Laugh Tracks........................lol

No worries on the spoilers. I intentionally skipped over them. I have seen the bad reviews but will try it out anyway.

I really liked "The Stranger". Really good mystery with lots of plot twists!
 
Alchemy of Souls is a good show. It is a fantasy show about mages in Asia. I was surprised to see some comedy in it since it is mostly a drama.

I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in all the bad reviews

is the show great?

No , no it is not

but whats insane , is that every single week , there is a thousand different videos , all repeating themselves , it's woke this , and it's woke that

while you don't hear a thing about how woke House of Dragon is , House of Dragon is like 1,000 times more woke then Acolyte is , and thats not an exaggeration

as bad as Acolyte is , I still enjoying it alot more then House of Dragon , some times it takes two or three nights to get through one episode of House of Dragon

I think that most all the bad Acolyte talk on YouTube , has more to do with Click Bait , then any actually review

again , Acolyte has it's problems , but..................
 
made it through the first 8 episodes of That 90's Show

Red , Kitty and Bob are back , their still the best part

the kids , their ok'ish as well , the lead girl who is Eric and Donna's daughter probably still remains the weakest link

the show does have some funny stuff , I do wish we'd get more 90's references besides a cleverly places 90's Coke can

I can't put my finger on it , but the show just seems a little off , it's like their rushing through it , and I got to to looking , the episodes are like only 24 minutes long , which was kinda curious , I get it , that the old shows were like that , because they had to squeeze in commercials , but these new shows are on Netflix , why noy use the full 30 minutes ?

I think some of the episodes would have benefitted if they were , a little longer , and took a little more time

overall , I give the first half of season two a "C" , it's watchable , don't know if I'd give it a recommendation , but if you liked That 70's Show , it might be worth your time

or not..........

I'm still kinda bummed That 80's Show was a bigger success then it was , only lasted one season

that was my decade , born in the 60's , raised in the 70's , partied in the 80's
