I think this Carolina game is almost a must win. Yes its early ..but I'm not confident we can beat the 9ers in week 8 unless we somehow grow a sack over the bye week. And then we get Bucs, Saints, Chiefs, Packers, Broncos, Chargers along with our division games and the Raiders.

The aforementioned teams are all physical and tough... And this team just can not match that physicality when they get pushed around.
We are just way too soft in all 3 phases. AD has no help up front.
Kupp and Stafford are a 2 man show.
You can only scheme and finesse the league for so long before you get figured out. And we just keep trying to do the same thing every week and expect things to change... It's literal insanity. Time for a shake up

McVay needs to be tougher on everyone from top to bottom. As much as I hate Belichik...he is the GOAT because he doesn't take any shit and doesn't make excuses. He's a coach first and foremost, tells it like it is and holds the entire team accountable. If you're not doing your job... You don't see the field.

( I know this first hand as I have a friend of the family who was with the team the past few seasons )

It's the Carolina Panthers, not the Charlotte Panthers. They have a lot of fans in South Carolina as well. However, yes, we must beat them and on to the bye week.

No one cares about the NFL in the state of SC. Thats Clemson country!!! And yeah I know they call em Carolina, I dont....

If we lose to PJ walker and Rhule then holy hell lol.

Sucks we have to deal with another mobile quarterback but this is absolutely a must win/should win game in my mind. A 2-4 record with a loss to the panthers heading into the bye would be brutal for team morale.

Don't worry about Rhule, fired this morning.

If we can't beat Steve Wilks (interim HC) and PJ Walker we deserve to be 2-4.

Wilks better have the vaseline ready. I think he gets all the Rams have in this one. And yes if we lose this one it's time to hang out in the draft thread. :laugh3:

Entering week 6 I'm not seeing any major shake-up at WR or RB, but the OL and TE positions are definitely in line for an octane boost. I believe Hopkins will return from his suspension, and it's past time for the Edwards/Evans show at LG to be pulled. The Rams could easily opt to gather further offensive momentum with more emphasis on 12 Personnel sets involving Higbee, Hopkins, Blanton & even Roger Carter, if they'd finally bring him up. While there seems to be little support for moving Alaric Jackson, I'm one of the minority here who would like to see him at LG where he can be of help to Noteboom and our running/pass game from that side. AJ should be able to make the transition a fairly easy one as he still has very little NFL experience as an OG (3 games). Aboushi, vastly more experienced as a veteran RG should be ready now to step in. Kolone has played better than expected at Center, but if Allen is a go, then our OL only needs to develop some new chemistry, and Carolina offers an opportunity for the Rams to reshape our interior without going up against a top front 4 defense.
Like many, I don't feel the Defense has been our problem, although it would be great to see these guys produce some interceptions and forced fumbles that bounce our way for a change. I like that Bobby Brown will be returning from suspension after the BYE for our game against the 49'ers, and with a little luck, maybe Van Jefferson, Cobie Durant, Troy Hill, Kyren Williams, Daniel Hardy & Jordan Fuller return soon after to make an impact.
The Rams have endured much this season, but we aren't out of this race by any means, and the Panthers provide us with a means to get back on track, so let's take advantage where we can.
jmo.

A lot of Gamecock fans too, my friend. Do you live in SC?
