After the double boink by last years PK, the Bears have brought in several place kickers.

My favorite to make the team? Chris Blewitt Really? a PK named blew-it? I can just imagine announcers description over the air when this guy comes in to make the game wining kick at the end of a game when he misses.

Talk about living up to your name.....

Chris Blewitt, what a great name for a PK.

There is also a relieve pitcher in the Kansas City Royal organization by the name of Scott Blewitt, great name for a closer too.

FWIW, these are the kickers the Bears have brought into minicamp, but they should just trade for somebody else IMO.

Chris Blewitt, Redford Jones, Elliot Fry, John Baron II, Justin Yoon, Spencer Evans, Emmit Carpenter and Casey Bednarski.

Yoon kicked well in the Alliance, but I'm hoping for Bednarski, that's a good Chicago Name, who likes everything on his Chicago dog! However, all of you know how much I dislike Chicago!

I remember making that comment to a friend while watching him in college, lol. You BLEWITT!!!!

He's was actually a very good PK at Pitt as I recall.

Yeah that's a Hall of Fame name lol. Almost up there with the Dick Trickles of the sports world. His parents should have named him something like "Ephen" with a good middle name he can fall back on of course lmao.

I believe Robbie Gould requested to be traded out of San Francisco and wants to live close to his family that lives in Chicago.

All I know is that those salty bastards brought in 8 kickers, had them all attempt a 43 yard kick (where they missed from in the playoffs) and 6 of them missed.

Whoops.

And I don't understand why? I'm glad if it weakens that team up North, but for the life of me Robbie, move them to Santa Clara, they will thank you for the rest of their lives.

Just a few years ago the Rams had a coach named Dick Curl.:rolllaugh:

Ummm....not so den. I'm from the People's Republic of Californication (PROC) and left 27 years ago. I've never looked back and am glad I left as the problems have only gotten worse with time. I will agree with you that Chicago is just another big city hell hole but nowhere did the article say his family was in that city either.
At any rate check out the YouTube vids about the tons of people leaving the PROC "paradise" for a multitude of various states and how delighted they are to be finally leaving that swamp.

Then move them to Nashville, I also understand there are great areas of major cities in California as well and outside of Chicago, however, I guess turning 53 years of age in September and spending most of those years in New York, weather is very important to me.

I was offered a great opportunity to move to Minneapolis (job) years ago and that city always has a triple A bond rating and Rochester, MN is always rated as one of the top cities to live, but I declined because of Snow, the white stuff can't stand it and I live for the day that my White Christmas is celebrated on a white sandy beach. so my apologies to the great State of Illinois and Chicago, who is a great group.

All eight of them they've brought to minicamp.

I know, that has to be fun, right? The Long Snapper's will have their work cut out for them. I don't know all of them, but nobody jumps out, but that is why you have a competition.

Just sign Matt Bryant and be done with it!
