Before becoming a CBS sportscaster Irv Cross played DB for the Rams from 1966-68*, once returning an INT 60 yds for a score with the Rams D. I always liked IC for his professional demeanor. No. 27.

NFL Pro-Football Hall of Fame QB Norm Van Brocklin was a gun-ho Rams player from 1949 to 1957 (including the '51 NFL Champions). As a Rams QB he threw for 16,114 yards (8.64 YPA -- those were 12 game regular seasons) and 118 TDs; also added 5 TDs rushing.

With jersey No. 10 in 1986 Steve Bartkowski played a few games as backup QB for the Rams. Then he retired from the NFL. The Rams were a playoff wildcard that year.
