plus our punter, could end up being 5 very good to excellent starters. Snead needed a great draft and he nailed it
And they've got a 6'6" TE with 38" vertical jumping ability and great hands in Davis Allen who has hardly even seen the field yet. He's a redzone weapon just waiting to be used.

I still believe that DL Desjuan Johnson is going to be a player and wish they'd make him active on gameday over Earnest Brown.

Just saw an interview where Durant said he's teaching Tomlinson the star (nickel position) where I think he'd shine.

If Zach Evans or a healthy Ochaun Mathis can give them anything that would be the topping on the cake, IMO.

Yeah a smarter DC will stunt at Avilla and test he's awareness to pick it up. A couple times it seemed like he was more eager to hit somebody and not wait for the stunt. He's young and we all know they're eager but capable of mistakes.

except it didn't work with Demby, Evens or Edwards
Well, a certain threshold of talent is actually required before the AD effect on development can kick in. Those OL guys you mentioned were sorely lacking in talent quantity and quality.

And Byron Young and Kobie Turner are flashing.
Byron Young is virtually a Von Miller clone. Kobie "The Conductor" Turner is an unabashed fan of AD from his collegiate playing days. With Puka and Ethan Evens as Cooper Kupp and Johnny Hekker clones, respectively, we see that Sean and Les have resorted to genome-level biological warfare to establish a Horns dynasty. We still could use a Matthew Stafford and, perhaps, a Todd Gurley clone, sans degenerate knee issues, to establish the core of the ongoing dynasty.

Agreed with all, and I'd love to see Warren McClendon take the field. He's not the best athlete, but as a technician, he's damn solid. Reminds me a bit of a shorter Havenstein, actually.

At what spot Memento? RG?

Right guard or right tackle. It's not like Havenstein is going to last forever. Zachary Thomas is another interesting piece, and I still haven't fully given up on Bruss. Even if we lose Shelton, Allen, Noteboom, Dotson, and Anchrum after this year, it's not like we don't have options.

Also will add that I'd love to see how Nick Hampton plays with another year and more power to him. He was solid at Appalachian State.

Either way, our 2023 rookie class could be an absolute team changer.

we have to resign Shelton. I don't want to start all over at center again

I agree. I don't want to start all over either, but we'll see what happens. He's a free agent after this year; I believe he can opt out of his contract, if I'm not mistaken?

Spotrac shows him signed thru the 2024 season.

I think your right but we'll have the money to resign Jackson and Shelton. No need to let him walk, let's keep our Oline intact please

A-Jax should definitely be re-signed, along with Ernest Jones and whichever edge rusher we trade for (because I'm willing to bet a lot that we deal for one).

Agreed. I am very hopeful that Allen ends up being that future Higbee replacement.

The class looks very good aside from the backup QB right now. Alcoholism can be a lifelong rollercoaster. I wish they had picked O’Connel. This could be the best Rams draft of Snead’s career.
