Yes! Sloman waived and probably will not return. Rams sign Austin MacGinnis who should have been the kicker from day one. Nice to see the Rams backstopping Forbath with a legit kicker. IMO if MacGinnis looks good on the PS he will have an inside track to the kicker position next year. He has better range than Forbath.

I wonder if they would bring him up occasionally from the PS on gameday for kickoffs? If Forbath isn't good at deep kickoffs, and they are playing a good returner or even could be used for 50 plus yd FGs, it might make sense.

Early in his career he had trouble last year he was a little over 65% on touchbacks.
