It doesn't look like we'll have much in the way of reinforcements for our secondary this season.

Taylor is raw and missed tackles may not get cleaned up. Tomlinson may be a steal but he and Durant will probably be battling it out for nickel roles with one of them having an outside chance to take a role on the perimeter... but I wouldn't bet on it.

We may very well pick up a veteran cut at CB for an outside spot opposite Rochelle/Kendrick. Fuller is fine if he stays healthy and Yeast/Lake are unproven.

Here's hoping that Pleasant is a hell of a teacher!

Get ready for us to play off zone coverage all year long…

The biggest thing will be the inexperience in the secondary. If this season is turning out to be what a lot of think it will be, they should really try and get more youngsters involved the second half of the season. Get them that needed experience for next year and beyond. For all we know we could have some good ones that just need more time.

Let's not forget about Jimmy Lake. But yeah, it's going to be a very young and fairly-untested secondary. I think Durant, THT, and Rochell win the jobs (and I guess Kendrick could get better). Fuller is the main veteran, Yeast, Lake, and Taylor II are going to be competitive, and I bet we sign a lot of UDFAs in the secondary. What I'm hoping for is a John Johnson III reunion.

Hence all of the guys drafted last year. Now they have valuable real game experience to bring into camp.

Then there’s 3 Edge players and the “The Conductor” being brought in to get after the QB.

The Conductor is such a good name. And let's not forget about the guys brought in from a year ago in Murchison, Hardy, and Thomas. This is going to be a competitive defense, and I love it.

IMO you can pencil in Durant starting outside and Tomlinson playing the nickel. Then it'll be Kendrick and Rochell battling it out for CB2
