Tyler Shough has been gaining steam to perhaps be the 3rd QB. His real downfall is his an older prospect, but, he has as good of arm as anyone, is athletic as anyone, and is bigger then anyone. I would not be surprised if McVay likes him. We tend to draft the older prospects.

Agreed. Another example of how, as great as Jourdan is as a beat writer, she lets the Rams BS her time to time.
 
wow did not see this coming but im a big tutu fan so I am very excited they look to likely give him more chances without kupp next year... my only fear is they will draft a wr in round 1-3 and tutu will again be the forgotten lost man because McVay hates him for some reason haha

HUH WHAT WHY

I really don't have anything against Tutu. I think he has obvious limitations due to his size but is very solid overall in almost every other aspect as a receiver i.e. speed, route running, hands, etc. But we don't use him enough for this to even come close to making sense...

That being said this is where we are now so hoping for the little guy to make a big impact this upcoming season.

When I heard them talk about D-robs legal problems and the non-impressive free agent market.

I had a feeling we might resign tutu.

Hopefully he can get some more targets and show us what he can do.

Thought he usually produced whenever he was asked.

IMO TuTu has been under utilized. He has proven that he can make catches and one thing the Rams should be doing at a minimum of twice per game is throwing the fly pattern TuTu's way. He always beats the coverage with his speed and if Stafford can actually hit him in stride, he would have more touchdowns.

I look forward to the Rams using him more and I for one am glad to have his speed back in the saddle again.

Probably could have had Tyler Lockett at that price for a year. Already mentioned Hollywood Brown may have been had for around the same dollars. Both are a little older but have provided more production in their careers. Here's hoping for a Tutu breakout season but I just don't see it.

His other downfall has been durability although all the injuries have been breaks and not tears.

Maybe Scheelhaase has plans in mind to use him more. So maybe some new tweaks to the passing game scheme with Kupp being gone.

I think many times, she just reports what is said by the Rams. No opinion or speculation. I think that was all that was.
 
How much of the overage on his contract was because:

- the salary cap went up - as reported - beyond every single teams internal models of what was going to happen this year
- an very underwhelming FA class at WR

I wonder how this contract will look after some of these other receivers are signed in FA this year
