It's a little early for that ... either for Goff or Gurley ... but ...

those guys like Lombardi and Keyshawn who said Goff was a bust need to be absolutely HAMMERED on Twitter, daily, without letup and without mercy. Rub their nose in that sh!t. And then rub it some more.

How can Goff and comeback player even be said in the same sentence? Goff has never been a good player til 4 weeks ago. He was not a good player before in the NFL. He's not a comeback anything

He played 7 games man and played poorly. So under that rule, he sure can :)

The National Football League Comeback Player of the Year Award refers to a number of awards that are given to a National Football League (NFL) player who has shown perseverance in overcoming adversity, in the form of not being in the NFL the previous year, a severe injury, or simply poor performance

to be a comeback player infers that you were once good, not Goff's fault, but he had one season, and it wasnt good..

Whoa...slow down turbo. Let's get the TEAM to win the Division and get into the playoffs first.

Here's the point. I consider Goff to be the 2017 NFL MVP!

Definitely too early to talk MVP. What I can tell you is this team (offense especially) is sending a few extra guys to the Pro-Bowl this year. Right now I could see the following:

Jared Goff
Todd Gurley
Andrew Whitworth
Rodger Saffold
Michael Brockers
Aaron Donald
Greg Zuerlein
Johnny Hekker
Jake McQuade

If I'm wrong, it's because these guys are preparing for the Super Bowl or I left some names out.

If there was a most improved award, I'm pretty sure he'd win it hands down though.

love the enthusiasm ....but lets slow down a little first ... its a great start and we are legit ... but MVP talk after 4 weeks ... youre seeting yourself up for a huge letdown .. theres a long way to go and like mcvay and the rams lets take it one game at a time .. im sure theres going to be a fisher esque performance at some point this year ...then we all be posting lets blow this up (look at the early posts in the game day thread if you dont believe me )

one game at a time boys ,,,one game at a time

I can only imagine what he's going to look like in 8 weeks. I'm seeing Aaron Rodgers-esque, don't @me lol ;)
A LOT of football to be played.

Opponents get more and more film on McVay's offense... trust me, it only gets harder going forward... so I'm not thinking any awards at this point.

I'm just thrilled at where we've come and where we are!

Fine I'll bite on the early talks, but Goff stands no shot at his current pace of just 28 pass TDs...

Gurley could win MVP, but he will probably win comeback player for sure..

Way, way... way to premature to even start talking about league MVP. Pull back on the reins a bit. Let's see where everything is around week 12.

If we keep winning games, I don't see why he wouldn't win the MVP award. I can't wait for the SEAHAWKS GAME!
