Around the NFL: Jaguars Release New Stadium Renderings

Great renderings, some of the best I've seen in a while for a stadium. Will be a beautiful venue. I used to live in JAX, my Dad still does, so I'm in the area at times & a game here would be sweet.
Plusses:
- It's got ONE team in it... Jags can brand the crap out of it.
- cabanas?? sweet. Lots & lots of premium seating & club options.
- repurposes an existing structure.
- pretty sure the Jags are NOT going to London now.

Cons:
- Just like SoFi -- bird poop-apocalypse. Now with seagulls & pelicans.
- And bugs the size & variety you've never seen before. Now with a giant shining beacon to attract them.
- The harbor is TOO SMALL. The Jax Landing has a good harbor, so many folks just take a boat to the landing & go shopping, restaurants, etc. Lots of fans would love to do the same here. "boat-gaiting" on a dock with your big ol boat or yacht?? yesss. Big missed opportunity for revenue (boat valet?) here. Maybe they can't make this happen, don't own the shoreline, etc.
- WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ININITY POOL???

The Rams are trend setting: Fuck 'em picks, grab a vet QB1 and make a SB run. Now a SoFi copy. Don't think the NFL hasn't taken notice of the team that Stan built in LA.

Hi all, Brand new to this forum. And want to be a positive part of the dialog. Every now and then I get a great view of the new Stadium while landing at LAX. I would like to share the photos I have and when I take a new one will try and add to this thread. This is only about the appreciation...

That was really cool.

The engineering and project management was impressive. Lots being done simultaneously.

Looks better than the Titans soon to be box stadium.
 
I'ma guess it will cost more than projected. Sofi started at around 2.8 if I recall.

Granted, completely different projects and scopes.

The other thing to think about is that as stunning and amazing as Sofi is, it's not as glorious as the mock ups portray.
