Well the Patriots are even failing in the Caleb Sweepstakes since the Panthers have 0 wins to Pats 1. Some QB needy team would probably get that pick from Carolina since the Panthers just drafted their QB.
Chicago has Carolina's 1st pick

Chicago has Carolina's 1st pick

And Caleb Williams has outright said he won't play for Chicago or Arizona. He wants to play for the 69ers; I bet he'll try to force his way there, just fucking watch.

I dont think the 49ers would move off Purdy, unless he gets hurt again. At this point I dont see his carriage turning in to a pumpkin.
Bears though are dumb enough to be fooled in to thinking Fields can be the guy and would trade the pick

QBs are hard to find. He had the best for years. Compare his non Brady record to other teams / coaches when they don't have a franchise QB and he looks pretty good again. Also, for belichecks first Superbowl it was debated who should even start at QB. They were primed to win with either bledsoe or Brady. He also saw the greatness in his young QB and chose him. And Brady didn't even really become great until they had already piled up some hardware. This idea that the greatest football coach ever was "made" by his QB is just plain dumb.

Furthermore.. compare how great belicheck was vs other teams with elite QBs. Aaron Rodgers, 1 Superbowl. Peyton manning (colts) 1 Superbowl. Drew Brees 1 Superbowl. Belicheck 6 Superbowls. I'm pretty sure if you put any of those QBs with belicheck he would have had similar dominant results.

Not if they weren't taking bargain deals like Brady.

Belichick benefitted from having an elite QB who was willing to work for a discount to surround himself with talent to keep working. Not all teams have team players like that. Allows them to spread the wealth and remain dominant for a long time. Majority of NFL is "me not we" (which I get to an extent).

Patriots may be suffering now, but I'm pretty sure they sleep pretty well with the comfort of their decades of dominance.

When you have the other teams' plays on video and also have stolen their signals... elite QBs trying to compete fairly on the field can't win either.

And these are just the cheats that the public has been made aware of. There are more that the NFL made disappear back when they immediately destroyed all the evidence and tapes to make damn sure the public didn't see the full spectrum of the cheating.

If Don Shula would only refer to him as Cheater instead of his actual name until the day he died... that's all I need to know about Belicheat's so-called "greatness".

He's the NFL's greatest cheater. That's the Real Truth. Not something I'd be proud of... but some people have no shame or self awareness.

If this turns into a 3rd losing season out of four… I’m more than happy to drop BB back.

His longevity is a big part of his resume… Bill Walsh was at least as good.

brady got paid. and got paid well.

the team used his company for all their roster to work out or recover or have coffee there, whatever the fuck his company provided. these payments were not used in the cap calculations. so please stop telling us he took less money. he took more than the rest.

yes he did make a bunch of money, more than any other football player over his super long career. But Brady could have been paid much more. It wasn't until he was on the Buccs roster that he was the highest paid. Brady was only a top-five-paid quarterback six times in his career and only the highest-paid quarterback once. He took a bunch of "discounts" and restructured often to help his teams salary cap.

That doesnt include all of the profit share that Brady received from the Patriots shop attached to the stadium. They totally circumnavigated the Cap this way.
As @kurtfaulk said, he got paid all right, likely more than all of them

Any top QB is getting more $$ off the field.
Bottom line, he took a cap-friendly deal that GREATLY benefited roster construction… which is what the $$ issue is actually related to.

I honestly haven't given that dirt bag, donut fucking, shitty accent having city or team a second thought this season. Let em burn in hell with their shitty, racist, front running, doberman pinscher fucking fans.
