Naaa..just miss BB
The leagues I am in now use the 10 conventional scoring cats....no k/9 OPS etc..and a 7 inning minimum. ..so I have Kershaw, Shields and 9 RP

Just a question: what all do you count? It works a little different from a football league, I know that much. Does the salary clause come into effect? Do you count stats like OBP, SLG, OPS, BABIP, etc.?

Runs (R), Hits (H), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Total Bases (TB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base Percentage (OBP)
Pitching:
Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Strikeouts per Nine Innings (K/9), Quality Starts (QS)

Okay, since I've never been a Fantasy Baseball commish before maybe some one can help me to expedite these additions. We already had the draft with 6 teams but there is a "draft redo" and I would think I could add teams if that were done. By my count Memento, Rhody and Dieter (a sandbagger...gotta watch him guys / 2 time champion) make 9 teams. Is anybody else interested to make it an even 10? BTW, I posted on the league notes I have a few more guys who would like to join and then hold a new draft (doesn't matter if you miss the live draft and let it auto draft...I've found Yahoo picks me a better team than I do myself 
). I'll check and see if I got any responses. I'm sure the other 5 managers would love a 10 team league better than a 6 team league.

If I can see the link to your league and learn when a new draft begins, then I'd be very grateful. I'm sure that the other managers here will be grateful as well.

No problem....what I have to do is form a new league with you 3, myself and another guy from the other league. I'm trying to find 4 other managers on this site and RRF. I've also asked the guys in the league if they want to join. As soon as I can get the necessary 10 (or 8) I'll set the draft for tonight so we can start tomorrow.

I would throw myself into the mix for the league but I seemed to be the one in BB's league that faded near the end of the summer and ended up tanking at the end.

Okay what I have is the guys who joined the league I formed in Yahoo don't want to redraft. It's all good. I will set up another tomorrow as long as you guys (Memento, Dieter, Rhody) are in. I think we'd agree it would be much better to find 4 more participants. So we'll keep this thread going (as well as the one I have over on RRF). I thought I knew for sure one guy who won BB's league last year would join but I realize that would be Rhody!!!! Memento, you're in against some stellar competition (provided Dieter's phone is working good...LOL Dieter). We'll see if we can get a couple other players and set up the draft for next weekend (F, S or Sunday). Sound good?
