I recently started vaping to get off of dip (Copenhagen), and I gotta say I'm really enjoying it. There are some awesome flavors out there, and I'm already stepping down the nicotine because the urge has subsided a good deal.

Any 'hobbyists' on here who can give some tips?

Hope it works for you. I find that gum and sun flower seeds work the best for me when I want to quit. Smoking has never made me not want a pinch but I think you can intake more nicotine by vaping.

Had to look up what a vapist is.

Never cared for cigarettes but smoked cigars like a fiend. Quit smoking in November of 99 while on a trip to Cape Cod. Since then I keep cigars in the house and in the car for when I get stressed. I just chew on them but don't light them. It's stupid but has prevented me from smoking for 15 years. Best of luck with the vaping.

As you know down here in FL there are cape stores everywhere. I stopped smoking three years ago but still vape a little here and there. Zero nicotine for me and haven't had any since just after I quit.

Hundreds of thousands of people have quit smoking since vamping hit the scene and I'm guessing that the tobacco companies will be in the biz pretty soon.

This thread is decidedly not what I was expecting. I always thought those other things you put in a vape were a cover for stores selling pot paraphernalia.

Next question - what kinds of vapes are people using out there. Just not impressed with my little travel mate and would like one that fits in a pocket and works well. For my nicotine free vaping needs of course. :D

I've been trying the same thing (vaping to stop dipping), but I'm having a hard time giving up that last couple of chews in the morning and afternoon. It's as much financial as it is anything else. In the Midwest I bought my chew for $1.25 a can. Since I moved to Washington this summer, it's over $5.00 a can. As far as what I use, I did upgrade from the cigarette looking stick kind to an "iTaste MVP" device, and I love it.

The rechargeable battery goes 2-3 days easy between charges, even if I'm hitting it hard. Finding a good flavor of e juice has been another challenge.

Good luck!

I've been vaping for awhile now and have used pretty much all that's out there from cigalikes to
Mech mods to regulated mods you got any questions pm me I can most likely answer the question.

My current and all time fav device is my regulated mod the ProVari by provape. By no means a cheap device but best protection as well as best voltage consotantcy from start of battery to end of battery no voltage drop from beginning to end. Check em out http://www.provape.com

Also if you wanna grow your knowledge check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com awesome source of user knowledge and vendor deals.

Rabid - what cartomizer is that.

I don't vape

I used Chantix to stop smoking. It worked ridiculously well. I would recommend it to everyone. I really had no confidence that I'd be able to quit. I failed everything else. Plus, I really didn't feel ready to quit. But I did the Chantix anyway and I quit. It wasn't even that hard. It was like magic. No, it was like gold

Its not a catromizer it'sa cclearomizer with bottom coils its called the nnautilus tank. Attached to the pprovari mod. Pardon the double letters I can't get them to stop lol

I've got a couple provari's, some lavatubes and another couple vamo's. I've gone thru all of the bullshit junk that doesn't work.

If you get a rebuildable tank you will never go back to anything else. I have several different kinds but my favorite for the last year has been the Russian 91%. They are hard to find though. It is so easy to maintain and gives gigantic toots.

I'm actually coming to the end of the road with vaping. I spent the last couple years weening myself off the nicotine and now I'm on zero strength. Never thought I would be able to break the smoking habit but I did it and thank god for whoever invented these ecigs because nothing else ever worked for me.

About to order a Provari mini with the Nautilus Aspire. Pricey.

Tried it and it made me an insomniac so Chantix is not for everyone. Vaping now and is better than smoking for sure! Weaning down after 45 years and so far-so good!

A very good investment. To me best mod and tank system on the mmarket. With the nNautilus just be sure you buy Bvc coils not BDC coils. They are way better.

Will do.
Know anything about the Segeli Zmax V5 Telescoping?
Don't think I need it since battery life isn't a huge issue, given how much I vape. Just curious.

They are decent but far overpriced for what they are. The provari mini i believe takes a 18490 Imr high drain battery which gets me roughly 8 to 10 hours a vape time and I chain vape Alot lol
