Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch! That's a lot of cap that has been wasted. They save $10M this year but have more cap hits coming.

I too hoped they kept him and waited till a team needed a WR during the season. Snead should get something more that a 6th or 7th-round pick. If I understand the money correctly Steelers get Robinson for $10m each of the next to years or $10M for one year if they cut him. Good deal for them with little upfront money. I guess if you are retooling it's good to save the money now and put it to better use.

Let's see what Snead can get from the Steelers.

Don't expect much of a return - but I'm ok moving on from a dude who didnt seem to fit all that well

Maybe they're dumb and will send Jaylen Warren and a pick?

Who's left that' s not on a rookie deal that's not part of the core? We've got rid of everyone except Higbee and Rob Havenstein lol

I don't get it. Why would the Rams pay $10 million not to have Robinson, versus paying $15 million to have him? What am I missing?
They are taking a $19M cap-hit in 2023, with just $3M of cap relief to not have Leonard Floyd.

And another $19.6M hit, with just $5.6M of relief to not have Jalen Ramsey.

It's ALL ABOUT 2024.

So what’s the cap gain in 2024+ from this trade? I understand the 2023 impact, but not 2024+

Some here just don’t get the business side of this game. This deal serves its purpose. We have a bit more cap room now to fill in some holes post-draft (1 year veteran deals) and, as many have noted, it fits the plan of compiling resources for 2024.

Nobody was ripped off, there wasn’t a better deal out there. It is what it is.
