That call on Hill really had me worked up but it's not like KC wasn't gonna score there so whatevs. Yeah the refs called a tight game but a fair game, so nice job by the NFL ensuring they maximized the quality of that matchup.

I personally thought they were super flag happy but at the same point, sooooo many holds against Donald went uncalled. But it definitely made the teams play cleaner than the usual

Like I said I saw one bad call...

Some of you dudes are funny... you really want every penalty to be called in a game?

That's horrible guys sorry - like watching a basketball game with 899 free throws.

This thread was kind of an experiment and pretty much what I thought - the officals will never win in the eyes of the fans.

It's not possible (too many different perspectives)

They were solid... only bad call was the personal foul penalitie on Hill.

I'll give them their credit - they didn't freak it up.

Overall I thought they called a good game. Better than I’ve seen for a while.
The one touchdown drive where the Chiefs were catching up, I thought they were awfully KC friendly on a few plays that helped them. But we got away with a false start on the TD when Goff ran it in.

The point is that if they would call 1/3 of the holds on AD alone, this D would dominate teams or teams would stop holding AD every play and he would dominate them anyways. Just because AD cant be blocked doesnt make it right to allow teams to hold him every play. If its ok to hold AD, then why cant our OL employ the same tactic.

have a look at the goff rushing td from head on. you definitely will see the rams olineman employing the same tactic.

.

All I going to say for those who think the refs missed holding calls on AD, please go back and watch our O-Line and see if you feel the same way. I remember seeing at least 5 blatant holds (bear hug) between Havenstein, Whitworth and Saffold which were never called. I'm not saying it's right, but if they called holding on every play the game would be still going. People need to understand most holding is going to be missed because of the tight proximity of the D-Line and O-Line. When our guys get held we scream bloody murder (yes I do too), but when our guys get away with holding, we smirk like the Grinch. It's a part of the game refs are told to ignore unless it's blatant.

Agreed.
That call was silly and at a strange time.
The way the D was playing it may have helped the Rams by getting the O the ball back (after a KC score) sooner.
They call some holding both ways.
Whitworth picked the wrong game to constantly hold. So it goes.

Yeah may well be - but doesn't change my point - the KC fans are bitching that the officials jobed them.

No matter how you slice it the officials are nearly always going to be failures in the eyes of one side.
