I just want to discuss how much of a beast AD99 is gonna be inside Wade Phillips D. Sorry if already posted but I thought this hash tag was so great to see. This is the kind of attitude I want our team to have, accept nothing less then winning. Now that Donald is playing essentially the same position as Watt, the NFL better watch out cuz AD is coming for that DPOY.

I hope everyone on the team is taking this approach. I think a lot of them have something to prove next year. AD wants to prove he's the best defensive player in the league, Gurley wants to prove his rookie year wasn't a fluke, Goff wants to prove his was, etc. If everyone busts their asses this offseason they could be a nasty group next year.

The players around AD will be more effective under Phillips, so yeah the dude is in for a great season. Cornerstone player and it's going to be great watching one of the best DCs in this league build it around him.

I also expect Quinn to have an enormous season as well btw. He'll be back over 10 sacks IMO. No more of that over-resting and babying the players, practicing all the time in shorts and shells BS, these guys are going to be well coached up and prepared not just physically but mentally as well.

People seem to be misunderstanding what Wade Phillips defense is. Aaron Donald will not be switching positions. He will stay at his 3- tech. The defense won't change much except they might drop linemen a bit more.

Like Goff kind of alluded to, I'm not entirely convinced the entire team felt the same way. Get rid of the guys (Quick and Britt come to mind) that are there for paychecks.
 
I'm glad to see this mentality, but it's the same every off-season. What I want is for all the players to show up for every game, hit the ground running day 1. Words are cheap and easy to say. I want better play. I want to see those wins.

Performance doesn't matter unless we get those wins. That will be the only thing to silence the critics.
