If you want another laugh, I clicked on the profile of the NFL Data Analyst who made that comment ... Harrison P. Kent IV

He is the founder of something called Kent Analytics.
Below is his Bio from that website:
Born in April of 1981 ... Harrison P. Kent IV spent his childhood at the esteemed, forty-five million dollar family estate in Greenwich, Connecticut. From his infancy, Kent exhibited supreme intellect for his age, first attracting attention from universities nationwide at age 9.
Driven by his fear of attending a disreputable or public university, Kent continued furthering his knowledge by indulging in even the most archaic and sophisticated classics at the prestigious Kent family library.

After winning the Connecticut Latin Bee at age 11, Kent began communicating with the deans at Harvard University, where his paternal lineage had studied for the past eight generations.

Kent was accepted into Harvard at age 15, graduating summa cum laude in 2000 as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society with a double major in Economics & Classics.

My Comment:
Assuming the above is honest and accurate, Mr. Kent sounds like a highly intelligent and educated individual, with absolutely no direct or practical knowledge in the sport of professional football.
As also sounds like a spoiled, arrogant asshole; and a 43-year-old virgin.

The reality of him coming back............................ where's there's smoke, there's fire.

There isn't any smoke.

People thought Aaron was just going to let himself go in retirement? His love of lifting weights transcends even his love of football.
Well, Barry Sanders gained like 50lbs in one offseason after he retired. EVERYONE thought he would come back, but he never did of cours.
AD looks like he could play right now.

We knew that wasn't going to happen to Aaron, right? He's a workout fanatic. Lifting weights from a very young age, one of the activities that he and his dad bonded over. It's one of his true passions in life.

You never know. He achieved all of his football dreams which he held tight until the very end. When he let loose of that period of his life and he is married with kids, becoming lax on an extreme diet and physical regimen happens more often than not, I think.

But he’s been married with kids. Some people can’t stop with that stuff or they go crazy.

I full expect AD99 to be that 50 year old man that looks like he could still lace them up

yeah i think he may come back after seeing this and hearing some people talk about it.

I mentioned this in another thread that it's odd that he is still listed on the Rams roster on Overthecap.com

The Eagles placed Kelcie & Cox on the retired list and they show up as dead money and no longer in the top 51. While Donald still shows being in the Rams top 51. So I assume they have not yet sent in any official paperwork for his retirement. So who knows what that means.

I believe the reason they haven't put the paperwork in is because the Rams are holding out hope that AD has a change of heart and decides to come back. I don't think they gain anything by turning in the paperwork.

I think there is something to it and some fire with the smoke. But only like a 2% chance - if Rams are in contention, the bug keeps building in him and the wife relents for a couple months. It’s extremely unlikely to happen - but not an absolute no.

Let's get to the playoffs first, then see if there's interest and all that. AD might find that watching the boys do their thing is invigorating. That and imagining himself out there as a third down rush specialist on the interior.
