Much worse ... and, much different.

If you really care, you may want to go back and find the threads. It was around the time Donald announced he was retiring. It would be a couple of the longer threads.

Ellenbogen pissed-off a lot of posters with multiple tease-posts about big news coming. For many, it created positive expectations. When it turned-out to be the hugely disappointing news that Donald was done, many posters were angry. Some were critical but others tried to explain to Jake that his posts created a positive expectaion that made the bad news even more disappointing.

Ellenbogen stood his ground with the detractors, and refused to engage those who tried to be constructive.

Ah. I see now. I think I actually remember that now that you're bringing it up. Eh let byegones be byegones. Everyone fucks up from time to time.
