Yeah, as others have eluded to...

Rat Face and Lynch created and maintain a culture of shit for the whiners. Between the constant purposeful dirty play by their defense (Lynch's trademark) and the look of constant misery and disgust (Rat Face) on the faces of every whiner player and coach. It certainly doesn't look anything like "We Not Me".... it's the exact opposite. When I see that team's players and coaches on the sidelines, it NEVER looks like any of them are happy to be there.

Maybe what caused this is the result of this player having something very seriously wrong with him, and that caused him to tell his coaches and teammates to basically fuck off on prime time TV. But being forced to operate in the shit culture may have been what precipitated the problem he has to erupt into this madness.
Shanahan and McVay may be a lot alike in their ability to create a good scheme for the offense. But that is as far as it goes with the comparisons. Their personalities are polar opposites. McVay wears his emotions on his sleeve. He gets fired up. Fires up his team. Loves to talk. A natural born leader. So much energy. Probably has ADHD.

Shanahan has the personality of a turnip. Probably bores the heck out of his team in meetings. As much as I wanted Shanahan during the hiring process I'm so glad we took McVay. I remember when they named him as their pick. I just said "Who?" Nobody is saying that now.

oh I was cringing thinking "here we go it's Linehan 2.0", giving some young OC a shot looong before he was ready, maaan we just missed out on Shanahan....
turns out McVay was BORN READY. Natural born leader w/ deep football pedigree, knowledge base, and organizational skills. Sets others up for success (c.f. O'Connell, LaFleur) instead of cutting them down. We couldn't have been luckier. Thanks to the HC search committee, including our own MF for recognizing him & setting us up to have the best HC we could've hoped for.

I remember at the time wanting Kyle Shanahan, while others on the board back in 2017 like @jrry32 & @OldSchool to post a few, were in the McVay camp. Glad Rams went Boom over Gloom.
I remember well, because I desperately wanted McVay.

You weren’t entirely wrong, though.
Shanahan is a good coach.
The guy has won more games with scrubs playing QB than anyone else I can think of and his teams usually play hard ball.
He just needs to do a better job of keeping his house clean.

We may all be missing the point here.

Campbell may have just been afraid after seeing Avila blow-up multiple Niners on one play.
... should have said Dotson ... I am overwhelmed with joy over the past 100+ hours of Rams' football)

Debo is probably thankful that the quitting LB is taking some of the attention off him. Greenlaw was a monster out there in his return from injury but being he’s a free agent in the offseason you have to wonder if he returned too soon and risked a big payday. One guy saying NO MAS and another risking EVERYTHING.
I did not know Greenlaw was an FA this year. I would sign him for the Rams in a heartbeat.

Ouch, If Kyle wants to save his team he needs to cut that dude immediately. As a business owner there's nothing worse than a subordinate worker telling you they aren't going to do something that's within their scope of work because their "feelings are hurt". Really sends the wrong message to the rest of the people who are under your wings.

Obviously this makes me giddy because it's happening to our long hated division rival. But if Kyle has any balls left in those pants of his Campbell would be collecting unemployment by the days end.

How sweet! Not only do Rams win and improve their chances of winning NFC West, they beat Whiners 3rd straight time and basically end their season.
To top it off, Whiner nation is in turmoil over toddler tantrums from Dweebo and Campbell.
So much fun watching youtube reactions, I have to go buy more popcorn.

I for one, am proud of Campbell for doing what he did. Hopefully it inspires others on his team to quit as well. Maybe enough of them will hang up their boots so they can’t field a team any longer. Just shut it down altogether. I wouldn’t mind that.

Embarrassing. You never quit on your team. I was the twelfth person on a twelve-person co-ed private school basketball team. I wasn't talented on offense at all (defense was a different story, and I took pride in my defense)...but I did my job, I busted my ass off, and when the coach told me when to get on and off the court, you're damned right I would've followed their orders, and I wanted to get in there and make a positive impact for my team.

What DeVondre Campbell did is an embarrassment to everyone who has played a team sport, whether professional, college, high school, whatever. It's made especially worse by the fact that he's paid to play.

I hope De’Vondre Smith has managed his money well because he's done as a 49er. You can't be on a 9er defense and do that.

DUDES DAYS ARE NUMBERED!!!
