So there were 6 offensive players in round 1 that the Rams talked to teams about moving up for but did not like the asking prices. Who do you think they were? I’m guessing it wasn’t anyone in the top ten.

Dalton Kincaid has already been reported to be one of them.

I’m going to guess at the rest: Skoronski
Jones
Johnston
Flowers
Addison

I would speculate Jahmyr Gibbs. He would have added a lot of speed and juice at RB and slot WR, and to the whole offense.

Gibbs, Kancey, McDonald would be some guesses.

Moving up into the teens would've been cost-prohibitive, so likely they were targeting the 20s. But, was reported by Jordan that the draft room started to break up right around pick 23. McVay hinted they were very interested in exploring moving into the first for a shiny toy in the interview with DeMarco and Camryn afterwards. So, was probably Zay Flowers, whom the team was said to be interested in and was taken at #22. Could also have been Addison, but I suspect it was Flowers.

100% one of the teams was the Bungles. They were 8 picks ahead of 36, which was the example Snead mentioned in his post-draft interview that night. And they drafted Myles Murphy, who was a rumored target of theirs that day in failed trade-ups (Kincaid was the other).

Supposedly there were six offensive players that they had interest. Jake reported the Myles Murphy interest. This came from Jourdan, who got it from someone at the draft house.

Gibbs, Kincaid, and the last was Flowers.

Jourdan said they all came down from the war room at pick 23, if I recall. Thats right after the Flowers pick.

Who were the other 3? Has anyone reported more on that comment?

OBJ posted something about The Hags WR & USC’s Adison wr still being on the board.
—not sure he posted here about it.

No, I have not heard any specifics. I just specualte that it would be the six latest first round offensive players.

That would mean Kincaid, the 4 receivers, and Anton Harrison

Honestly next year is going to have some better talent at the top compared to this draft, I’d rather have our picks there for another blue chip talent or a trade down as per normal for better value.

Bowers, Maye, Harrison Jr. , Caleb Williams would all be the best players at their respected positions this draft.

That’s not even including anybody else.

I think there are a few really good QBs next year besides Caleb.

We shall see how it goes.

There is Maye, and I’m sure the media will hop up 2-3 more to make it interesting.

I'd have been inconsolable if the Rams had given up their '24 1st to move up and grab a small receiver like Flowers. Its crazy how much a deal that didn't get done might be their best move of the draft.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was Levis and the 5th year option
