The old onside kick rule was fine and not broken.

Also liked the idea of trying a suprise kick to fool the defense.

This new version of both kick off is failboat.

We need a font color for statements that contain some truth but are extreme exaggerations. I'm thinking purple font.
I think we need a ?? rating instead of

Imagine it's 4th and 20 and your defensive lineman accidentally breathes on Princess Allen.
They would get the ball back at the 50 yard line immediately and only one play from FG range.
Nah its worse than that. He just thinks about looking his way.

The onside kick shouldn't be easy. Don't put yourself in a position where you must score two more TDs with five minutes left. Your defense needs to be fixed—not the onside kick rules. The team that has taken the commanding lead has earned a level of buffer instead of the league making it easier for teams to snatch away the lead with some absurd non-football plays. Not every game needs to be a nail-biter because it'll dilute true comebacks. If a team needs the ball back, then they can defend and earn a three and out. Need it faster? Force a turnover. Better yet, don't let the game get out of hand. Practice urgency from the first whistle.
There are times when it’s your last hope and the odds are pretty low in that circumstance but it was also used by teams with the guts to do it unexpectedly to steal an extra possession and maybe shift momentum. That part is totally gone. I would think the odds of a successful 4th and 20 are much higher than an onside kick, Campbell would probably never punt.

Inside kick needs to be set back to how it was. Made some decent changes but this one was horrendous.

They just need to change the kickoff back to the way it was imo. It looks like gimmick to me.

Since they have changed the regular kickoff, and the onside kick is a completely different thing, I don't understand why they can't just go to the old kickoff alignment rules for onside kicks.

Another major problem. Remember princess Allen got hit inbounds and the flags came out. Almost exact same thing happened to Stafford and nothing in that same game. Same thing happened with Purdy in the Rams first win against the whiners. Keep the refs out of deciding close games.

The worse part is they called a penalty for hitting the QB out of bounds in direct response to Allen calling for a flag before he hit the ground. Then they saw he was still inbounds when he got him and changed it to roughing the passer. I respect Allen and think he clearly deserves the NFL MVP award this year. But his “can dish it out but can’t take it” attitude and flopping irritates the shit out of me. And the Bills are my favorite AFC team.
