The senior bowl stuff makes me happy… also hearing the Ducks stole a lot of Rams concepts makes it sound like an easier transition.

Imagine him in motion and doing that blast between the guard and tackle that Puka does… to block or get into a route.

I’m intrigued. Who knows? Maybe he’s Laporta?

Watching what's available of him on YouTube, you can kinda see where he'll be more effective than Higbee on those tight end screens and crossers. Every time I saw Higbee in a Yac situation I felt like there could've been more. Ferguson looks more natural with the ball in his hand and he's way more athletic.

Saw a tweet that he had a total of four drops last season. One was a flat out drop. The other three were a body contortion with poor ball placement.
He is going to make some Kupp-like catches for us. Legit RZ threat and some down the middle hauls. He may need to get more momentum on a screen unlike Cooper who would just quickly burst through the 1st tackler but I can't wait to see him run over players. Looking at you Joseph.

Having a TE who can dominate between the hashes is huge so worth swinging for the fences for. He can also extend Higbee’s career with the Rams. I love Higbee and would be thrilled with him taking up our no 2 spot if Ferguson ascends

All this guy has to do is produce near Higbee's production and it will be a successful pick in the second round.

I won’t be excited about a TE, until we start using them.
McVay has been reluctant to use the TE other than limited capacity.

I don’t care either way. I just hope it’s not a pick that sits on the bench 80% of the game.

Someone posted a video yesterday that showed all four, the first one he tried to get upfield before he made the catch, the last 2 were throws behind him but still catchable

I know I'm probably dreaming but hopefully he ends up being our Trey Mcbride. Similar size and speed and drafted in the same area (46,55). I know he doesn't block like McBride but hopefully he'll improve.

Contrary to some who think he was a fallback option, he’s not. This was a guy they identified and scouts wanted. More importantly, McVay wanted him and is excited to utilize him in new ways within the offense - which is always a great thing to hear. Anything that makes mcvay happy and excited has my sign off.

He also seems like an ascending player with his best ball in front of him. Young guy too having just turned 22.

What does using a TE look like to you?

We use a TE on almost every single offensive play.
