That’s why I’m not Les Snead. Sorry.

That's OK. I'm not a top-tier NFL Front Office GM either ... but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Seriously though, when fans start to imagine (dream) trading for an elite player, they often fail to consider what it might realistically take to get it done.

In this case, I really don't envision Parsons being traded. However, if Dallas was to engage the Rams, I would think Jared Verse would be part of the negotiation.

Right now per the cap there are 3 teams that could handle a 40 million dollar contract this year. Detroit, San Francisco & New England. Jerry will not trade him to Detroit or San Francisco, but New England, that could be a destination.
Well ...

I really don't see a trade happening unless there's a lot more bad blood and negativity in the coming weeks.

However, a contract that averages $40-$42M per-year can be structured to have a first-year (and even 2nd-yr) cap hit in the low-to-mid $20M range.

Guilty as charged. I am a dreamer, after all.

He’s a free agent after this year, right?

I actually would do that deal in a heart beat
When I read this, I thought ... No Blue Font even necessary.

but doubt the Cowboys would. None of these dudes would impact the game like Parsons.
When I read this, I thought ... Seriously!?!

Then I thought ... No Way ... Chapo can't be serious

Then I thought ... Well, Chapo is a tad insane ... No Blue Font necessary!

Verse is a nonstarter from the Rams end. I'm struggling to recall the last time a 2nd year clear future superstar was traded. I don't think that happens. His production, combined with rookie contract, is too valuable.

I think the primary piece from the Rams would be the Falcons '26 1st.

I agree. That's why I think the idea of the Rams acquiring Parsons is kind of silly.

I don't think that would be nearly enough. My guess is that multiple teams would offer two #1s ... Plus more.

Yeah to me, Parsons would be a huge upgrade to our pass rush. Him and Verse would be nasty, so nasty the booty and boobie thread would be considered G rated lol

Hey let us dream lol.....if they even say Verse, I'd hang up immediately.

I don't think it's any sillier than any other team acquiring Parsons. It's gonna take a ridiculous package no matter who trades for him and the Rams have as much or more future draft capital as any other team...besides Cleveland.

Oh, it will absolutely take more. I was just saying that's our best trade piece that would likely be available. Both of our 2026 1sts could put us near the top of the list, but I believe it would take more than that. I don't see us wanting to invest that much more into the edge position.

I agree with that. I think it's silly because I just don't see Dallas entertaining trade offers until ... and unless ... things get a whole lot worse. Micah Parsons is just Too Good and Too Young. In fact, Parsons is only one year older than Verse.

Yeah, it was sarcasm...

Maybe if you add a high draft pick or Byron Young you could throw a few of those listed in and get something done.
