Lot of chatter among Dolphins fans that a big star will be traded soon and most think it'll be Ramsey and not Tyreek.
What if he's traded back to the Rams?!

Oh No Omg GIF

They just signed Ramsey to a new deal last year and he’s overpaid at this point.

I think it’s Tyreek. He’s not happy being on the team

I mostly sent that as I'm sure there's some on here that'll say hard pass.
I'm sure there are some that would want to pass...don't know why though. He's still playing at a high level and if traded, his salary cap hit to the Rams would only be $10mil this year.

If I was Miami I'd trade Tyreek to the Browns for a ham sandwich.

Hope so. He'd be our top CB again.
I have put zero thought into this matter and seriously doubt it happens, but if his cap hit is really only 10 mill I'd be fine with it. Wouldn't put up more than a late round pick in a trade, though.

The reports were that they wouldn’t match what he was going to get paid. Just like Shelton.
They werent going to make him an offer. Period.
They knew what the play was and were right
I dont know why this is so hard to understand?

Okay, whatever you say. It seems you must have been in the discussions with Snead and McVay when they decided Matt Gay was in decline despite having kicked well for the Rams. :eyeroll:

So you will just revert to twisting what I'm saying? Got it. I'm not saying that I know anything, but that clearly they did.
They were right to let him walk, again, not sure why you dont want to agree with that

Absolutely don’t want Ramsey on this team again. He’s overrated IMO.

I’d rather draft a premier CB this draft and bank on him. Regardless he’d be cheaper for 4-6 years.

You’ll get the same rookie mistakes Ramsey makes as a professional ( WR runs by him scores a TD and he acts like he wasn’t supposed to pick him up in coverage or walks around in disbelief.) over that shit.

Honestly, for me, it depends on the compensation. It would have to be something low, but also I'd be lying if I say I kmow his contract details. If its a contract that easy to get out of, then cool, but if not, fuck that then lol. Doubt this will even happen personally but for the sake of discussion, I'd still go after a rookie CB if we could get a stud one. My 2 choices are CB or legit offensive weapon.

Dallas Cowboys at #2 is kind of hilarious. Also, Rams are impressive with hardly any 1st rounders and missing a few 2nd and 3rds too.

Dallas has been on a tear with drafting for a bit now, very impressive. To bad they are the worst front office outside of the draft in the NFL (well, next to Saints).

Hilarious about Saints here, since the metrics used don't take into account how they just throw away draft capital they desperately need to rebuild their team in whole by trading up for these guys.

If he was cheap enough they would have signed him. But they knew he was getting paid. You make it sound like they were done with him because they somehow determined he was suddenly going to suck.

I don’t think it’s much different than with Coleman Shelton. They wanted him back at a certain price. But the Bears offered too much.

They didnt offer him a contract, they didnt offer him a cheap deal that he turned down. They made it clear before free agency that they werent re-signing him. Fans were hoping that they'd at least tag him and then negotiate a long term deal, and that didnt happen.
Fact is, they had 2 opportunities to sign him long term and declined to do so both times. Heck, even after his '21 pro bowl season they gave him the lowest RFA tender and didnt try to sign him long term.
Sorry the facts dont line up for you, but clearly the Rams saw something and were fine with him walking away.
And now more than ever the Rams are proving that they are a step ahead
