But, he's still younger so his further decline going into 2025 may not be considered as sharp for another team. And, he's still a running threat.

Plus, compensation wise, the Rams could possibly turn down a potential higher offer for Kupp just to get him to a team he really wants to join.
Yeah I could see Snead doing that.

When it comes to both players I think Deebo’s skillset is one that results in more wear and tear on the body and faster eroding production. Hes never been a great receiver. His best years were running the ball mostly and short passes and running the ball.

I understand Kupp had injuries but his superior production last year makes them more even products, and when it comes to Kupp’s football knowledge, teaching anbility and exemplary character, his value gets magnified. The only intangibles that I think Deebo can bring a team is how to be selfish, and maybe how to arrogantly dance out of the tunnel like he already won the big game.

That would be great, I think you know the contracts better than I, I figure his health and contract push down the value quite a bit.
Yeah, a lot probably depends on how much of his bonus the Rams are willing to eat. If they paid the entire bonus a team would be getting him for $12.5m this year which is $5m less than what Deebo will cost Washington.

All of it makes a difference.

Kupp was more productive than Deebo in fewer games. Plus his character and coaching ability gives him a bit more value imo. Who better to teach the offense or even help coach up receivers?

Well, let's say as DZ says we eat the bonus, I can see a 5th then... more? Not so sure... especially if we do right by him and let him dictate new team. That's a 6th round special for the Rams.

Still guessing our 6th and Kupp for a 5th, hopefully a 4th. Or an outright release.

I can see a 5th for Kupp but you never know. Still holding out for a last minute deal with the Rams but he’d have to take a pay cut right when others are getting a raise. Can’t feel good.

The key would be how much of Kupp salary the Rams are willing to eat AND if the team making the acquisition wants a slot WR, which one could argue are easier to find.

DeAndre Hopkins went for a 5th rounder that I believe changed to a 4th rounder when the Chiefs made the Super Bowl and he played a certain number of snaps. And I think the Titans ate half his salary. But, I've noticed that many in season trades from desperate teams during a Super Bowl run seem to garner more than offseason trades. I guess that since there's still free agency and the draft to obtain more options than there are in season.

It’s too soon for me to accept goodbye. I’m hoping for a miracle that works for both Kupp and the Rams. But it would take a miracle. Rams still need to add a serious offensive weapon or 2 to the arsenal.

Maybe the draft not being very deep at the top with receivers will help.
