I like the idea of them filling the ILB role prior to the draft. Not a huge fan of Baun but whatever. He'd probably be a better signing than they've had of late.

I still think Willie Gay Jr for much less money is a good option.

People tend to bang on the Rams free agency plan last year. If it had worked out as planned they would have had Mike Evans and Luke Van Ginkel. Both would have been huge for this team.

If the Rams had signed Luke's brother Andrew, would they have still selected Verse?

I read about an interest in Evans but not about either of the Van Ginkel brothers.

lol. Is that his first name? I just calm him Van Ginkel.

But yes the Rams tried to sign Van Ginkel. I don’t think that stops them from drafting Verse. In round one BPA comes into play, plus they claim to have only had three players they would draft in round 1.

And Andrew didn’t exactly break the cap

Maybe, he was pretty shitty in the Super Bowl.
Stop. He’s doing a good job then he seen everybody else next to him struggling and tried to do more than his job and started messing up.

Those with experience in game know how that is trying to pick up a teammates slack when you start seeing them struggling. In this case you can’t do that with the Eagles front or you’ll get exposed to.

Not going to stop he wasn't good against the same DL that Limmer played against and people are critical of him for a couple plays.

Not saying he isn't good I'm saying what everybody saw, he had a bad game in the Super Bowl and yes the whole OL did.

On the one hand I would be over the moon with that signing. On the other hand, I cannot tell if I am overrating him because he always seems to play very well vs. the Rams. Calais Campbell syndrome, only Campbell is 1000x worse for it, if he played every game like he plays vs. the Rams, he would be a first ballot hall of famer, no doubt about it.

Which is exactly my point. If you played the game you’d understand where I’m coming from.

Forgive me I'll never give an honest appraisal of Our Lord and Savior Creed again. Only sunshine and unicorn farts.

Who's defended the Tutu pick? Who's talking at all about picking Creed instead of Tutu? I simply responded to a comment about Creed giving up the sack that ended the Rams Eagles game. That seems to have bunched your panties beyond redemption. Sorry for that I'll let you decompress and never say your guy had a bad game again, which your PFF grade says is true.

Literally it's seems that is all you do. Constantly. For years. and that's only a minute of searching.

My favorite isn’t even a thread it’s a comment that happens a few times a day. People need to get over picking Tutu over Humphrey. They act like because they preferred him over Tutu they need to tell us about it regularly. As if anybody, every GM and Head Coach included get every pick right. Move on he plays in KC and complaining about it doesn’t make us better.

I simply brought up Tutu since you decided to tell me because Hopkins was drafted in the 4th round he was obviously talented. The same Hopkins who was inactive last week. The same Hopkins who when I wondered why he wasn't active and used to block and help the run game either you or somebody else told me he couldn't block for shit. Doesn't sound like a talented guy.

Higbee can be good but we rarely see him do good for more than a game or two. In fact last week was a bad game for him. I didn't realize it was such a controversial though that we needed to upgrade the TE position. Especially when the only above average TE we have is a free agent after next year when he also turns 30. It's time to add some talent in the TE room and help out the offense.

Says you? If we don't draft at least a handful of spots on defense I'll question very strongly McSneads intelligence. Based on the past I'd say the OL gets the least amount of attention and there's a new Creed Humphrey in peoples dreams and on their lips.

Holy shit how can an OL led by the legendary Creed Humphrey lead the NFL in penalties?

You have more faith in the doomers than I do mi amigo :)

At least Creed Humphrey isn't brought up daily anymore though so maybe you're right though that took a few years.

I mean seriously, you can call me daddy, but not today. I'll let you earn that over time as you constantly put your foot in your mouth and try and tow the line as for things, like this example, not to happen to you but I think the years are mentally creeping up on you.

Literally not once do I defend the Tutu pick.

Also I'll exit this discussion with one simple fact. You gave us Creeds PFF grade for the Super Bowl in response to me saying he had a bad game. That game grade was just a couple points higher than Joe Noteboom's grade for the year.

He had a bad game and Tutu was not a good pick Creed would have been a better pick but that doesn't change how Creed played in the last Super Bowl or that going forward Creed is and will be a better player and pick than Tutu.

Have a wonderful day

And, from what I can tell, Gay will be a cheap signing. Not certain why. I thought he was the better of the 2 KC MLB's when he was there. I could be remembering wrong.
