I like this move. The Chargers resurrected his career, but he had a few good years in Seattle.
He’s 5’-11” and 311 lbs. I like him better than Gallimore. Low center of gravity.
The Rams plugging holes before the draft. Gotta love it.
Both could happen? Limmer could improve and Shelton still beats him out. It's not like Shelton was a below average center. He was solidly in the middle.

I don't think so. Shelton is a marginal talent who has shown he isn't someone you want to rely on as a starter. Limmer had a good, albeit mistake prone at times, rookie year. There isn't a chance in hell I'd start Shelton over Limmer. But for depth, he has value being able to play all interior spots. Shelton tends to get his ass mauled by being over powered which is not something you want protecting the middle of your line.

This would be the biggest fucking Browns move ever. Trade for a WR who was already overpaid and has a blown out knee. They better not give Whiners shit for this and be only a salary dump to the Browns.

Per the numbers, Limmer gave up interior pressure more often than Shelton did.

As I said, I know what Shelton is at this point in time. I don't know what Limmer will be after only his rookie year.

Fair point. Limmer should be ascending. Besides, we haven't even signed Shelton yet and may not. I wouldn't mind if we didn't.

Listening to Rich Eisen, sounds just like Baker's contract with the Bucs. Both will get paid handsomely if they perform over the duration of these mid level QB contracts.
