I’d say with Leveston we know The Rams are high on his upside. They put him on IR with a chance to comeback. He just made more sense letting him build himself up for 2025.The dude was a steal IMO.
—Better than McClendon when it’s all said and done!! He adds to that depth you talk about.
I agree, I look forward to seeing him play next preseason.
McClendon, overall, was solid for a depth guy at RT.
While I would draft a mid round-ish T this draft as a swing T or a RT to compete as a long term replacement for Havenstein, McClendon may end up developing into that role himself. Far from given up on him at RT. He is NOT a LT however.

Personally, if we get no worthwhile trade offers for Jonah, I'd keep him for next year and cut him after 2025.
It depends.....and the odds of getting a decent trade for an oft injured highly paid interior lineman is slim.
He may well displace Limmer at C just based on quality of play.
He may end up starting the next couple of year to then be replace by Limmer or McMahon.

What about Dedich ?? You seem to forget quickly. Does size matter ?

He might. My point is only that I wouldn't cut him this offseason.

Speaking just of C.
I liked Dedich play a lot overall for an UDFA.
He would certainly provide depth at G.
With Limmer, Jackson and McMahon the Rams have plenty of options for depth at C.

The concern is size.Dedich though did a good job while playing LG.IMO The Rams don’t make the playoffs without him.

Do we all remember Zach ? I’ve always been a Big O’Line fan. There is depth & then there is having REAL QUALITY starters. IMO you need both.
—Shelton & Blythe were perfect examples of having a good swing G/C.

Shelton was solid, I would say Dedich showed more upside than Blythe.
He is listed as 6' 2', 300 lbs. He could easily add 10-15 lbs and play in that range.
Im not worried about a little size with a back up player.

Myles Garrett does nothing for me. He will be 30 during this next league year. I love our youth and the heat they generated on QBs during the end of the season. I think something special is being built here.
