Agreed. Some adult threatens or hurts my ten-year-old nephew or my unborn nephew/niece (my brother's girlfriend-hopefully-fiancée is pregnant; I found out last Friday), I'd be headed to life in death row on first-degree murder and torture charges. I still dream up ways of killing my sister's abusive ex on my worst bipolar depression/isolation days (and the only reason I don't do it is because she's told me she wants to move on with her current fiancé).

Nobody threatens or hurts the people I love without consequences. AD's self-control is incredible, and I admire the man's maturity even more for it. Same with S-Jax's self-control for not falling for the woman who tried to extort him with a false domestic violence charge.

I remember the days when AD would rip off his helmet and lauch it during a game or go literally head hunting an opposing player after the game was over where the players and coaches would be shaking hands in the middle of the field. Now he's giving me a lesson in self control.

On a side note, this reminds me of something my dad has. I'm gonna start a new thread on it in Off Topic.

Need to have an angry reaction emote here because this shit really gets me pissed off.
As an animal lover who owns a cat who was dumped and left to die for no good reason (and still despises a kid - an evil little shit who is probably in juvie now and once raised hell around my family when I knew him - for murdering one of the two fancy rats I cared for in cold blood and laughing about it)? It's impossible for me to agree with you and your reaction more.

AD's level of self control has definitely gotten better since his rookie season till now. We've all seen that maturation process right before our eyes.

I realize now that he has passed me by a mile with his self control... because if someone threatened my 3 year old son I would be headed off to jail soon after the threat was made. Meanwhile, the pos who threatened my son would be on their way to the graveyard to participate in their own funeral.
I remember that fracas a few years ago when somebody swung a beer bottle at his head (and hit him). Instead of beating him back AD was pulling people off him when he got jumped.

Shannon Sharpe accused of sexual assault, battery in $50 million civil lawsuit

hmmm he says he got set up & the video "proof" is heavily edited. I hope he's not lying, but I tell you what, you're a celebrity so just find the best wife you can from among the thousands of women who adore you & stay at home. Is a trad life really all that boring? is the risk really worth it? $50 mil. ouch. but there's some guys out there getting catfished & losing everything.

Fuck, I feel bad for him. Been there done that, that shit sucks having to worry about running into a deranged person that has a obsession with you.

Silver lining is he lives in LA which is a lot bigger than a 120k population where this happened to me.

Hope he has something for home defense.

I guess his body is his self defense! lol

Former girlfriend? Or are you famous or something?

What a fucking clown. Hell, that might be too nice for him. People could’ve been killed, and he’s very lucky they weren’t.

Hope he goes to prison for some time.

What is it they say, " You can take a person out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the person". I cleaned this one up a little.

Yeah - he has been given SO many chances. How he continues to keep pushing his luck is a little crazy.I stay with A.Brown character which is crazy. His last year with T- Bay was bad!! If you want to give a player the benefit of doubt ? He’s had his chances.

Sharpe is not sharp.
He is a very, very stupid person.
So, I could see how he could get caught up in something dumb.

Yeah. Eyes on you Mr Lemonade “Me not We” Lenoir.
ya he's pretty good, I guess, don't care about 49ers enough to know a whole lot about their roster but this kid got the Brinks truck this offseason.
But I saw this graphic on X while looking this up -- there's D.Williams, close to P.SurtainII:

There's that, I guess...

49ers gonna 49er!

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday night on a charge of obstruction of justice, police said.

Lenoir, a 25-year-old Los Angeles native, was released from jail early Friday morning and is scheduled to appear in court next month, according to jail records.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers had approached a group that included Lenoir and observed a gun inside a parked vehicle. When police asked for the keys, another man tossed them to Lenoir. Lenoir then threw the keys to a third man who tried to hide them, according to multiple reports.

"We are aware of the matter involving Deommodore Lenoir and are in the process of gathering further information," the team said in a statement.

Lenoir signed a five-year, $92 million extension with the 49ers in November. The 2021 fifth-round pick has recorded six interceptions, 26 passes defended and 265 tackles in his first four seasons with San Francisco.

He got arrested for playing keep away with a set of keys. This should not turn into a big deal.
