Vikings: Quarterback Kirk Cousins' 2024 through 2027 contract years void. Without a new deal, Cousins becomes an unrestricted free agent. The Vikings will have $28.5 million in 2024 dead money from the bonus proration relating to these contract years. Teammate Danielle Hunter's 2024 and 2025 contract years also void. The edge rusher becomes an unrestricted free agent at the start of the 2024 league year. Minnesota will have $14,906,667 in dead money because of Hunter's two dummy contract years.

Fair points though I still die on the hill of not giving up a 1st for him, particularly with the rumors of his contract demands. He is nowhere near as impactful as Bosa but asking for 30m/year. I'm hoping we are out on that.
At this point in his career IMO Burns is much more potential than accomplished. I’d rather have 3 $10m FAs at Edge/S/CB than just Burns.

That's where we agree. I'm not buying the rumors and don't believe he's getting $30 million/year either.

Rumor is he already turned down 27. So either 30 is likely or his agent is getting canned lol
