I think these calls are more common than most people think.
Due diligence, is something these GMs have to do.
Absolutely and we see it every year so it's pretty common. Davis signing does seem logical though but trading with the Brownpies would be nice.

I bet the Patriots had countless calls regarding Brady.
Usually because there was a backup qb they were interested in.

If I was a GM and was interested in Garapalo, my 1st question would have been, “ what’s your price for Brady”?

No way I'd give a 1st for a LB. Actually Id say no for a 1st unless we get a real game changer with it. Don't see it with LB unfortunately.
Don’t think that’s the LB market tbh.

I’d say for him a conditional 3rd maybe a 6th or 7th to.

Important thing is he fits in our cap.

JOK is playing WILL in a 4-3 scheme, for a DC who I think is very good. Those WILL backers in that classic 4-3 usage tend to be more chase types too. Now just looking at his highlights (I never watch the Brownstains) he is quite good around blockers and the LOS so I am sure he could play ILB for us and upgrade our defense. But when you couple moving him into a bit of a different scheme plus the cost to get them to trade him to us it seems unlikely at best.

And no way in hell he'd be worth a first round pick. I'd be fucking pissed if we did that as I prefer we take a shot on another young cost controlled stud player with that pick.

Fair, but the Browns have no real reason to trade him or Myles Garrett for less. JOK would be worth a lot on the open market because he's one of the most talented ILBs in the league, and he's only twenty-four, and he's on a relatively-inexpensive contract.

What I like about him is how aggressive he is. The dude doesn't screw around, he commits fast and he can cover some serious ground. But there is a scheme difference so I'd assume a team that wants to use him the way the Browns have would pay more than a team that wants to move him to the interior in a 3-4. We'll see though, it's been rumored the Browns are gonna sell.

Also and btw I'd be real careful assuming age with dudes born in Africa. He might be 30 for all we know. :laugh3:

He was born in Virginia, actually. African parents, but a native U.S. citizen. And as a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I heard all kinds of shit about Albert's age, but that didn't stop him from a first-ballot HOF career.

And yeah, the Browns are going to sell, but I highly doubt they're going to give their best players away. I still think that JOK gets at least a second.
