Based on he won't see the field. You mean to tell me he's gonna be active on game day? There's a reason he got drafted super late only to get cut. I think he literally averaged under 3 yards per carry in the preseason which is pathetic. Not saying he can't improve but he's not balling out for us anytime soon. If he blossoms into something better, its gonna be awhile.

Hmm, Rams could have just traded them straight up. We could use some CB depth. I don't think he's great but ok'ish. Think his main problem has been health. Oh well.
Wow, they just keep kicking that can don't they? They better pray he actually stays on the field and performs. His dead cap hit the next three years is $200 million, $173 million, and $99 million. The dead cap on the VOID years after he's not even on team anymore is $27 and $9 million. Just insane.

So now Huntley and Jaren Hall are free agents. Man, I'd love either of them over Bennett. Its just a shame that they don't know our system. I was a big Jaren Hall guy during the draft and by all accounts he was fantastic during preseason.

I liked Halls potential last year too. He had a good 2024 preseason, as you said.

He had 4 TD's, 0 INT, 61% completion, 112.5 Rating during preseason. A far cry from our Bennett 2 td/5 INT 59% completion, 57.5 Rating.

I was on the Hall train in the 2023 draft as well. He's playing a similar offense (Kevin O'Connell) with less talent than us - and still did better than Bennett.
