Probably - grumble grumble grumble

If he was a Ram, I would want him off the team
Agreed. But you know how this stuff works. Would the NFL be quick to remove one of their Golden Boy QB’s weapons thus hindering his shot at another Super Bowl? If they do suspend Rice I suspect he will be back in plenty of time to round into shape for a playoff run.

Yeah - sort of sucks. Don’t know how The NFL is really trying to inforce this rule.

It’s legal in California & FINALLY getting taken off as a Class 1 drug & out as a Class 3 whatever that means ?

The NFL(players association ?) has brought it up.There is some research that it might help in concussion cases to help relief the trama from the head injury.

Truth is it is pretty vague, because of the genetics & how it is prescribed. Is in just general.

Former Miami Dolphins star cornerback Xavien Howard sent a male teenager a sexually explicit photograph of the teen's mother because she refused to get an abortion, a new court filing alleges.
The allegation was made Thursday in a lawsuit filed last year by a woman who is not the teenager's mother. The woman who filed the suit accuses Howard, 30, of secretly recording them having sex and sharing the recordings with others. She says Howard also shared, without consent, sex tapes she had agreed to make.

Additional tweet from Pelissero:
Key part of the NFL’s findings on the #Falcons: The violations were found to have occurred *during* the two-day negotiating window, not before it opened, e.g. talking to players about flights after they’d (legally) agreed to terms. Hence, less discipline than in some other cases.

I guess I'm a little confused. If it happened during the 2 day window and it was legal, why the penalty?

I guess they could talk about terms but not allowed to make travel plans once agreed.

Dumb rule if that is the case though.

I'm assuming it's because the travel plans involved the Falcons buying him a ticket... maybe? So technically they essentially paid him money before they could "legally" sign him. It's probably related to IRS tax rules the NFL follows for employees. Any travel fees you pay to an individual who is a potential employee has be given a 1099 for said travel reimbursement... that's just me spit balling. Either way, kinda weak.

That's probably it.

IRS tax rules has probably caused the NFL to come up with idiotic rules like this.
