Just to be clear, are you and @Loyal talking about moving-in with @Mackeyser , and his family? Because they should have something to say about that.

Don't get me wrong. You guys are welcome to come visit anytime but if you show-up with serious luggage, I'm calling the authorities ... No Blue Font.
If I visit Mack in the winter, I would have to bring enough clothes that I look like Randy

In her case? I agree with you entirely, Selassie. She should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

What I'm trying to say is that oftentimes, rape is a hard crime to convict, given how few rape victims come forward (due to guilt, shame, pressure, or numerous other reasons), and oftentimes, the criminal is given a slap on the wrist or not punished at all (read; Turner, Brock), even if the case is airtight. If you added in a potential felony for the accuser that powerful people could use to further victimize a rape victim who doesn't have the power they have - and yes, Harvey Weinstein existing is proof enough that someone could do that - it would make it all but impossible for a rape victim to come forward.

That's why such felonies aren't prosecuted: if it was utilized, it would serve as a complete deterrent for actual rape victims to come forward, and unfortunately, it hurts Araiza in this case.
I just watched a movie named Miranda's Victim. It's about how reading Miranda Rights when arrested came about (you have the right to remain silent, etc.). The whole basis of the case that lead to Miranda Rights was a rape, and how the victim was being pressured and shamed into not reporting the rape to the police, even her mother. I think in the movie it stated only 50 out of 1,000 rapes end with a conviction. Had to share this as I literally just watched the movie last night.

Michael Hall was drafted (by Cleveland) in Round 2, about 15 picks after the Rams selected Braden Fiske.

There was a run on Defensive Linemen in the second round, with seven drafted in 20 picks between 35-54.

Hall was the final one taken at #54 overall.

The Rams much discussed (and wrongly criticized, in my opinion) trade-up for Fiske was from 52-to-39.
Had the Rams remained at #52, and wanted to draft D-Line, Hall was the only one of the seven DL taken in Round Two that was still on-the-board.

I think that Braden Fiske trade is going to turn-out to be an excellent deal.

Agreed

There were board members who rushed to say we should have waited and picked Hall which I could understand but there is a reason some players have a blue dot against their name for passion, graft and leadership. This guy ain’t it! Fiske and Verse exemplify those qualities plus their chemistry is something else

I don’t know but would guess they are way more intelligent too

Looks like a guy who thinks he has arrived but has not yet. Snead would never touch a guy like that.
May explain why Snead was being more desperate to trade for Fiske. They saw that DTs were drying up...at least the ones they felt were worth a top 50 pick.

I will say I was thrilled on day 3 when they got Tyler Davis. I said at the time that he was being mocked late rd 3 and rd 4. So it seems the public was right that he should have gone earlier.

Damn, was hoping they'd wait a few games into season to suspend him lol. We play them in week 7 so will be his first game back. Oh well.

it's fake. none of the major outlets have any news about it.

I remember a few pundits who complained about us giving up too much for Fiske said they shoulda stood pat and picked Hall. Already looking like a good move by the Rams. And they Browns? Well, they are the Browns.
That draft day/post draft review stuff is meaningless in a case like this. They won’t know if it was a good or bad move until we are well into the season. By seasons end they all could be saying it was a genius move.
